As you may have noticed I have been selling some foam trays on the trade section of this site and while there has been some interest in the pick and pluck foam and the 4x9 slot trays, it seems there isn't enough interest in those particular products.

I have working on a 5x10 slot tray for standard infantry, 6x5 (numbers may change) slot tray for terminators and equivalent, one to hold 4 land raiders or drop pods and another to hold up to 8 rhinos. Plus the current foam I am selling.
The trays would be made so they can be divided in half allowing players to customize if they wish. The trays would be contained in a cardboard box similar to KR but for a much cheaper price.

So I am asking the community which type of trays and customizations you would be interested in to help me cater to you. I know the products from other companies already exist but I will be able make improvements on what is for sale at the moment for a much cheaper price.

I am after as much feedback as possible and will be happy to answer any and all questions you have.

Tyranid Monsterous creatures! If you offered something that caters for that range, you may have some custom from me! What size cases do your foam trays fit in is another important piece of info.

I currently sell the pick and pluck foam that can contain monsterous creatures.

I am looking into making a slot tray to house tyranid warriors/tau battle suits etc if the demand is there.

I currently sell a few types of foam on ebay but the postage and ebay cuts forces me to raise the price of the foam. So the 4x9 slot they sell on ebay is 4.99 I sell it for 4 on there and 3.50 here.

I can deliver anywhere you want, and plan to expand the selection to be a contender amongst the foam suppliers.

Honestly I see a lot of views, feel free to ask me anything, you all need foam trays to store your models in, let me help.

I thought many of you would be interested in a cheaper product that offers the same value as the others.

Some of us had our interest piqued by the title, as it almost sounds like you're trying to get people on board to HELP you sell foam trays. Perhaps change your thread title from;

"Want to sell foam trays and need YOUR help!"

to

"Want to sell you foam trays and need YOUR opinion!"

Personally, I'm interested in seeing what your foam containing unit will look like. A dollar or two difference for each sheet of foam is miniscule, but if you can put out a solid case for notably cheaper without losing quality... that's where you'll make your killing.

If you could sell the pick and pluck type tray with varying degrees of thickness, but to the dimensions of the Battlefoam Bags, and cheaper, then you'll have some sales.

Whilst GW and K&R cases have more sales in the EU, more and more people are moving to Battlefoam. My games club for example, at least 50% of people have now moved to Battlefoam products.

I'd be buying.

You're right if a MOD could kindly make the thread tittle adjustment that would be swell.

I will be making many trays where customers can make combinations to fit the case I will produce.

As I mentioned in my opening post. I have the following trays in the process of being made.

5x10 slot tray to hold 50 infantry models
5x6 slot tray to hold 30 terminator or equivalent models.
2x2 slot tray for rhinos
2x2 slot tray for drop pods or land raiders

small pick and pluck foam tray for infantry
medium pick and pluck foam for rhinos, battlesuits, tyranid warriors etc
large pick and pluck foam for land raiders, drop pods, monsterous creaters

The trays I have produced at the moment (4x9 slot tray, small, medium (need to put on ebay today) and large (also need to put on ebay today) are cheaper than their counterparts on ebay.

Currently the tray system I want would be so the tray can be cut in half allowing varied combinations to fix the box. But I need to know what other trays people want so I can get them developed.

All I can say at this point in time to you is the products will be very similar to what is out there but with slight improved modifications and for a cheaper price.

You can do that yourself by editing the first post and change "Subject".

The problem is I want to make cases to hold my own trays because of the combi system I want to impliment. So I am not sure the dimensions will work well with their cases I would have to look into this further.

However, I did look at some of their trays and for example their 72 troop tray. I could do 2x50 troop tray for a lot cheaper than their single tray and they can be cut in half so you can customize the combo to stack other trays in the case.

How deep can you make the foam? I'm starting to get some large models with 80 and 120mm bases and transportation is a problem. Sabol seems to be the only place you can get a 4" deep pluck foam tray and forget about anything deeper unless you go to battlefoam for specialty trays. I'd love to see something that is suitable to store two colossals.

Currently the large pick and pluck is just shy of 3.5 inches which can hold a land raider I will be getting a tray for the really large ones such as the wraithknight, tau one, and tyranids (though I am waiting for them to be released before making this tray).
