Yeah, base size is the only important part. The models have a Height value which doesn't depend on the model.

Remember, old Avatars are legal proxies for Avatars and some of them are much smaller.

I like the mechanics. Cheating incoming damage flips with Revisionist History is pretty unique. Together with Creative Reporting, it gives you a reason to keep low cards in your hand. In Plain Sight gives you a very easy Scheme Marker drop. Coming from a Pandora player, Run from the Truth will make her very, very fast, and works very nicely with In Plain Sight. She can do what she needs to do, then when an enemy model drops a scheme marker, use Run from the Truth to reposition herself to drop one where needed at the end of the turn.

All in all a nice addition to Guild. Up there with Titania as my favourites of the new masters. I actually might get her box to sit alongside Perdita.

Does "Run From the Truth!" move Nellie or the model that attacked her? I thought it was the model that attacked her.

But yeah, I'm probably buying Nellie the moment she's out. Hard to resist reporter models, even if I don't play Guild at all.

Good point, I misread that. That's a nifty ability to keep her models safe.

An undeniable reference. That's actually kinda cool.

To be honest, the non-combat aspect of Malifaux is one of the things that seems so appealing sometimes. I've won more games with my Collette crew by just playing the objective and being a general nuisance more than a full-on-deathmatch. It's fun and interesting, and it seems that the Guild is getting in on some of that nuisance scheme-Master action.

Not much, really. We know it's 32mm scale but you field many more models than Malifaux considering it's basically a War and not much of a Skirmish.

Plot is that it takes place on Earth (aka "The Other Side" of the Breach).

Seems that Wyrd wants to release Book 4 before tackling The Other Side.

That's actually rather cool. I'm happy the character aspect of Malifaux has been retained and not sacrificed in favor of identical-looking grunts.

Insignificant isn't really an issue with Gremlins since a lot of them have Reckless and you've got things like Rooster Riders and Merris. If Gremlins want to run schemes, they will.
