JP, rolling a 1 when landing or taking off......its going to happen.....and you only have 3 dudes.
4 dudes, and with a 3+ save and
fnp, I'm not too worried about rolling that one, more concerned about speed when hoofing it, but the extra little survivability is nice

Sounds like a fun list, but not even marginally competitive. Its a 4 man army and I'm not even sure how you did that in 200pts. That's 50pts a model! Think how you could handle other lists available in kill team. Like 4 blasterborn and a Dracon in a double cannon venom with nightshields? Or Reavers bladevaning? Or Warp Spiders/Jetbikes? You have no answer to these guys because you only have 4 guys and each man down (And they will go down. Most good teams have something blaster/plasma like) is a massive blow. Boys before toys, how about assault marines with Plasma instead? Give the plasma preferred enemy (Everything!) so he won't get hot and you could be on to something.
Power lance isn't too bad of an idea, but I still want AP3 when I get counter charged, which is bound to happen. 5 attacks at WS5 S5 are likely to cause 2.2 wounds against a WS4 T4 model, and that's still verrrrry saveable if they're using normal armor, not so much if they're relying on invulnerable saves or
fnp. Upping the strength to 6 with a lance only ups the charge wounds to 2.8, so I'm not sure if that's worth having ap4 on the counter charge.
Maybe I'll do it with one dude just to look cool, but the other will
def get a sword.
Vehicles aren't going to be an issue, since it's just one squad, nothing added, and yeah I realize jet bikes and warp spiders could run circles on me, and I'd be a total sitting duck to any squad that loaded up on plasma. I have no idea what the boards are going to look like other than they should be very terrain heavy, so as long as I can use
LOS blocking terrain to my advantage I should be able to avoid getting cut down by speedy shooters.
Good call with a plasma gun assault marine with preferred enemy, that would be a total badass model in this setting, but I'm also trying to stick to using models I'd use in normal games, so I'm not wasting time building / painting dudes I won't touch again, and I have no idea when I'd ever use an assault marine with a plasma gun in another setting.
I sorta figured 4 death company wouldn't be particularly competitive, but it's free to enter, and it's an afternoon, so I'm mostly looking to have fun here.
Thanks for the advice tho!

Or Reavers bladevaning? " to me. I haven't fought Dark Eldar since 5th ed, and then I fought them exactly once, so I have no idea what the lingo referring to their current tactics means.
