Seems like 1850 is the only point games I see, friendly/monthy tourny at 4-5 FLGS. So this is the list I want to run till I learn the army and what works.

I like alot of it, really just thinking about changing up the fast attack. Maybe add another DakkaJet and run less Deffkoptas. Or one DakkaJet and a full squad of Stormboyz.

I am thinking if they go after the Nob Bikerz, the trukks will make it in. The DakkaJet will provide some Dakka. The Koptas will snipe/ cause confusion getting in so quick. But again just taking from what I read I have yet to play a game.

Warboss on bike -(158)
PK,AtkSquig,CB,BP,Ammo runt

10 Nob Bikerz (649)
10 CB
5 Big Choppa
2 PK
2 Kombi shoota/skorcha
3 ammo runts
Waaagh banner
BP
Pain boy w/ Grott orderly

TROOPS (648)
11 Ork Slugga Boyz x3
1 Nob, PK, BP, 'eavy Armor
11 Ork Shoota Boyz
1 Nob, PK, BP, 'eavy Armor
Trukk, RPJ, Reinforced Ram x4

DakkaJet (130)
extra suppa shoota, Fighta Ace

4 DeffKoptas (265)
4x TLR
4x bigbomm
1xbuzzsaw

Comes out to 1850 on the nose. This is my first list so I don't know if I can have Bigbomm and Buzzsaw on the same deffkoptas. Or if my points are exactly right. I had 12 left over thats why you see the Ammo runts. Thanks everyone for the input.

When I look up I think of the great Waaagh! in the sky.

I cant offer any advice on nob bikers as i've never used them before (everyone loves them on here though) but from what i see, you've got a good speed freak list! Personally i'd drop one trukk and use the points to add more boyz to that unit, and use them as a footslogger to camp on any objective near your deployment zone, split the deffkoptas into 2 units of 2, so they can snipe more effectively, they can tie up multiple units then.

I haven't used stormboyz yet, but im planning to in my next game, im gonna run 15 and Zagstruk so I can deepstrike behind enemy lines and hopefully not kill myself! From what I can see, this is a good list so far!

You're rich! You're flashy! You 'ave a proppa Orky stoutness about your belly! And you've got more big, shooty, and dead 'ard gear than any 2 other Orks put together. Da uvver clans orta make way for da Bad Moons!

Thank you very much randomtoaster. So should the extra boyz be shoota boyz? And I think that is a better idea with the koptas. I didnt even think about that.

I will watch for an update on the stormboyz, they seem like such a fun unit to field. Thanks again.

I see a lotta folks splitting their nob bikers into two smaller groups, rather than a big one of 10- lets you squeeze round terrain and maneuver a little better. Not sure if you'd want to painboyz though...

I agree with toaster about doing the same thing with the Deffkoptas- I run units of 2, with the expendable one in front, and the buzzsaw bringing up the rear. That way, one lucky round of shooting doesn't take out all 4 in one go.

I just learned (from this forum!) that Stormboyz don't benefit from WAAAAGH!'s, so they have totally fallen out of favor for me.

Lastly, but perhaps most important, get out there and play some games! All of what I'm saying may fall totally flat when you start getting the feel for the game and developing a playstyle. Even 1 or 2 games will make a huge difference.

Theres one guy on here who swears by 10 man Nob Bikers units, but in my opinion smaller units of 5-7 is where its at.

Do not take double kopta units. Look at their leadership 7. Look at their jetbike unit type. Your expensive buzzsaw kopta will run 3d6 when his buddy drops 50% of the time!

Bomms are crap. Buzzsaws are too expensive - if you take the Forgeworld Dread Mob list you can get them for 10pts instead of 25, at which point they're actually worth it lol.

Personally I love to run a unit of five with a flanking biker boss. TL big shootas instead of rokkits too, very reliable for ripping up rear armour 10 or units like Manticores that really crap on Ork lists.

Ammo runt does absolutely nothing for the Bikerboss - he's twin linked already. Drop it and grab a kombi-skorcha, then throw a couple on the bikers too - sometimes a well placed S5 AP4 template is worth its weight in gold, let alone a puny five points.

You also need more trukks. Two trukks is no trukks really, I'd suggest either battlewagons or way more trukkers. You'd also benefit from some home field scoring, ie Grots, and some shooting to soften up the enemy before you hit them or to pop open metal boxes so you can assault the dudes inside - Lootas are great for that.

I think Dakkamite has hit the nail on the head..Deffkoptas with TL-RKTs appear on the face to be good but in practice have never gotten their points back..But Deffkoptas with TL-BS's and lead by a warboss are worth the points. One PK in a group of 5 Biker Nobz is occasionally worth it more has never returned its points, Big Choppas always return their pointz..

I like the idea of the 5man kopta squad with a bikerboss. Seems like they could cause some trouble. In doing that do you run 2 warboss on bike? So 5deffkopts one dakkajet, what would you all use the last fast attack slot for? More deffkoptas? Full squad of stormboyz? Or another dakkajet? Thanks everyone.

Matter of points and models available..I have used more Deffkoptas with TL-Shootas to good effect but I have also seen a second Dakkajet used to good effect .
