The Twilight Zone

I assume your archon is rolling with the incubi? Should be killy enough, but in the open your going to get shot down.

Every venom you field needs dual splinter cannons, no exceptions. It is always worth the points. Always.

What special weapons do the trueborn have? I would take blasters for more lance fire. 3 or 4, depending on how many points you have.

Wytches are not as great of an assault squad as they used to be, but they can still be OK in combat against certain opponents. Drop the blast pistol from the trix and get haywire grenades for the squad(far better anti tank in the long run). I would drop the razor flails for shardnets so the wytches can tarpit a monsterous creature, or other assault squad. The extra attacks are not all that impressive, and unless your drugs roll well razorflails are going to outperform gauntlets most of the time.

Reavers can have AT guns or caltrops, but both is too much for a 3 man squad. I would stick to lances, but get blasters if you can afford them. Turbo boost around, killing stuff and going for AT in a pinch.

Voidraven can probably live without night shields. Most things that can shoot it down have pretty long range, or are other fliers that can easily get within 18". Keep the flickerfields though.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

I forgot to write that the incubies all have blasters, and dropping the caltrops leaves me with points for the splinter cannons and 10 extra. Then dropping the night shield on the raven and the blaster on the hekatrix for the grenades leaves me with 25 points to spend any ideas on what to spend them??? Maybe missiles or adding blaster again on the trix?

Incubi can't take blasters (or any other shooty stuff except the bloodstone) IIRC.

I can't imagine not taking a Ravager or two for Dark Lance goodness at 36" range.

And I second everything that Dr Serling said - particularly the point about Venoms - nobody, and I mean nobody fields them without the 2nd splinter cannon - It's why everyone else hates them

I meant to say trueborn not incubies
But i guess ill definitely run venoms with cannons and maybe I'll try out the ravager, and the raven competing for the hs slot or include both for higher point games

Archon needs grenade launcher to shore up the biggest weakness in the incubi.

Witches have unfortunately become little more than disposable haywire powered vehicle killers this edition. If using them you might as well run them naked with just haywire. I would also suggest maybe 8 as 10 is overkill. Or run two units of five in venoms.
