Accidentally posted this in p&m showcase, I think it'll probably get more attention here. Enjoy! All feedback welcome.

Nice...A bit of tip when using Decals, if you put gloss varnish on the area's you want decals, it stops the Silvery / obvious effect of a decal.

Once dry, gloss or Satin the whole model and then spray with DULLCOTE Matt Varnish to get a perfect flat matt finish.

It makes the decals look painted on.

An alternative method is to use MicroSOL to dissolve the decal.

Otherwise these look really nice! Keep up the good work.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

I'll second this; I use exactly this method on my models and it works well.

Actually Micro Sol is what I used there. My buddy uses Micro Sol AND does the whole matt finish thing, which is probably what I'm gonna start doing since his decals don't come out shiny like mine.

Commented on these in the P&M section, they look great!

Second what the other guys have said regarding decals - Micro Sol especially, very nice stuff the decal will almost look like it has been painted on when you have finished (although take care not to rip the decal during application).
