Been having a play at some of my old metals trolls... Here is the test scheme before I roll out to my unit. I have 39 more to go :(

Let me know what you think.

Love the coloring on the face, it really brings out the expressiveness of the figure and reminds me of a Brian Froud painting.

Just got back in from work. Thanks for the nice comment, I had to google Brian Froud to find out who he was. He has some fantastic artwork, so thanks again for the compare

39 more trolls?

Thats a very nice troll you have there, I look forward to seeing more.

I like the reference to the game in the subject, that was a classic lol

There was also trolls in the pantry and was there a third?

After a quick google there were four the above two and Hungry Troll and Squelch.

The work around the boils and the teeth are perfect. The small details really tie this together and make him feel alive. Well done!

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

Seriously good stuff. So good I can't even think of a humorous comparison for my enjoyment.

Oooh! It's like getting foreplay from Jean Grey. (You blew my mind!)

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. I'm going to be working on some more over the weekend after painting 10 boltguns (man I hate those things) and playing on my XB1 being delivered today

Because of my age and my reluctance to pay more than my mortgage for new minis most of my armies are old figures

I even have some orcs I bought in the early 1980s

You know, I really do prefer the old sculpts. More character, more fun. The new one... I dunno, technically a nice sculpt, but it lacks soul.

Yeh I know what you mean. Luckily the majority of my minis are "Oldhammer" nothing quite like a nice handful of lead
