So this is a quick 1750 list I wrote using the new Inquisition codex. The idea is that the mech elements start on the board and do what the mech do while the platoon, inquisitor and priest show up later to snag objectives and secure my opponents deployment zone. Skulls are there for anti-scout and more accurate blasts.

Comments, criticism, praise and $100 checks are encouraged.

Interesting ..Very interesting set up..solid TAC list that has no one hard counter but is not a WAAC set up ..but one that requires skill to win and will work in heavy terrain or an open board..

I will take that as a compliment.

I have been thinking of trying to add Coteaz to the list in place of the PIS melta bombs and the Inquisitor. Sure, it is Coteaz, but I feel like I will be kicking myself over the missing servo skulls.

Some local guys have been saying I should drop the Demolishers to LRBT. I don't see it; besides range the demolisher has all the advantages.

Also, would swapping the flamers and melta guns in the platoon be a wise decision?

It was meant as a compliment ..The CCS leading all those Vets in tanks is nice ..you have all the melta and plasma you need on the Vets and CCS combined

..so Swapping the PCS to Flamers or Grenade Launchers is not a bad idea as opposed to melta gunz...(Flamers are great upclose ..grenade launchers give you some mobile templates or higher str shots for cheap)..
LRBT's are fine if all you will face are MEQ ..but for TEQ, Death Stars, or MC's the demolisher is impossible to beat ..(Ignores all armor saves and provides instant death to anything that can be ID'd) ..The LRBT just does not bring that to the field..

I would find this list a solid challenge to my Orks and would be a fun game that would be very hard to beat..

The idea was that I would swap the PCS so they would have flamers, but then the PIS get the melta guns. I feel like it would sync better with the jobs of the PISs, but then the PCS has to get VERY close to do it's job.

And your right, the LRBT just dose not bring as much to the fight as the Demolisher.

Anyone have any thoughts about my Coteaz issue?

Ok, Coteaz:

He would allow you to bring henchmen as troops, but for IG that isn't an issue, so you'd be paying for 2 Divination powers and the Spy Network (initiative rule), but giving up your Scouting ability and the utility Skulls gives you for blasts and bubble defense.
So the question is: what synergizes best with what you are bringing?
