My Black Friday order arrived within two Weeks, but I only ordered a case and pluck foam, so nothing needed to be cut.

My order consisted of just one single custom tray and is still "awaiting fulfullment".

Hooray.

Wait, isn't the whole point of Black Friday to do Xmas shopping? Seems pretty bad to me that over a month later stuff hasn't shipped, or was that forewarned when you made the purchase?

It wasn't forewarned unless you check forums, afaik... they do the same every year.

Definitely have to watch out for this next year. By then I might actually have my Robotech miniatures in hand and enough assembled to estimate what I'd want in terms of custom foam.

Of course, it's even better to know that custom work would likely mean waiting a few months extra, which isn't a huge deal until I'm trying to transport around a sizable portion of the collection.

I've ordered from their black friday sale three years running, so I went in expecting huge delays.

Still, sort of frustrating when you give money up front and then have to wait for what I'm hoping isn't going to be two whole months for my small order.

Nah, I figured custom foam was a bad idea due to wait time. I just ordered 2 non-custom foam 1520 bags

I ordered a red 720 back in August thinking it would be enough but I recently realized I will need a 1520.

On a side note; anyone have a blue 720 they want to trade for a red one?

2/07/2013: Delivered to my house. I got 2 UPS updates that the delivery was delayed a few days due to weather.

I ordered this stuff for Adepticon, so the timing was fine in my book. I understand how that would be annoying (to put it lightly) if you ordered this for a Christmas present.

Received: Custom tray for my 2 obliterators, forgefiend, heldrake, and a few odds and ends that I squeezed into the tray. Fits well.
Custom topper with my Disciples of Horus army name and custom symbol. Excellently done.
Cardboard tray box to fit my spare foam trays. Fits them well. Glad I made that purchase. With the discount, the price was just right.

I got my Prime Axiom a week or so before TempleCon. Worked out well for me.

Also got a few Infinity games in with Kip from Battle Foam giving us the rules clarification. Helluva a guy if you ever get a chance to meet him!

I recall the complaints from last year and knew what I was getting into. In my circumstances, I got them in plenty of time, so the discount was nice.
