Just reading up on Lucius and thought it would be pretty awesome if Lucius armour had some sort of affect.
So the question is, if you were to re right his armour rules what would they be?

When killed, his killer is removed from play as Slaanesh begins to change them into Lucius, or something like that.

Armour saves equalling wounds is a bit odd I think. It gives him a chance at ignoring 2+ saves, while still looking badass with a power sword, sure...

But it doesn't do what one would think it would do.

Yeah I like the remove from play part but I think that it should require some sort of test such as toughness each turn until they are taken. And maybe the model is replaced with Lucius with 1 wound but I don't want it to be to op though
Thanks for suggestion so far but do you think it would be unfair

The turn from Lord Commander Cyrius to Lucius wasn't instantaneous so I think this should be represented as I guess case the change is possibly the same in each instance, maybe quicker for some and slower for others.

I was going to mention a toughness test at the start of the controlling players turn of the model that slayed Lucius. If the test is failed replace the model with Lucius on 1 wound. The Model replaced by Lucius does not award any Victory points but Lucius does if he is not returned to play.

The Model replaced doesn't award points because they are still alive, just part of Lucius amour

Would it happen during assault phase, would it repeat each turn or phase or does the char just resist it and Lucius is removed. How about shooting is it the last model to do so kill him affected? Are they then locked in combat or does he "spawn" within 1 inch or so
Thanks for input

I think this is why they don't have the rule truly represented as it throws up some challenges.

At the start of each game turn maybe and if the game ends before Lucius comes back then he awards points as normal.

It could only be from challenges or shooting from characters.

I guess placed within 1 inch of the replaced model would be ok.

If Lucius is your Warlord, he does not give up a victory point for Slay the Warlord when he is 'killed'.

Any model which kills Lucius is considered to be killed at the end of the last game turn for the purposes of victory points (if they are the last model in their unit, the unit is counted as destroyed, if they are the warlord, they give the chaos player a victory point if Slay the Warlord counts, etc.).

Or that would work, not as fun, but is much easier
