Ha ha its hilarious to see the confusion run wild in this thread. I am 99% sure that the windshield thing is all just gamesmanship and meant to be funny.

At least I enjoyed it. His last report had the rear window of a VW Golf smashed so unless he owns multiple hatch backs and Frisbee king hates them all (still funny ) I think its a joke.

Nice! Sounded like a fun game despite the rules, Mark is typically very good but i'm sure keeping up with all the rules and edition changes are a challenge.

I'll have to challenge those Nids sometime with my Orks Although Nids + Orks usually = Dead Orks. Good batrep!

Why were the CSM on the tower untouchable by your monsters?

It's either a ruin (which monsters can assault up through) or it's a dilapidated building AV12, which you can assault and do TONS of damage to with smash attacks.

Heldrakes are fairly easily avoided when you know they're coming. Put your tervigons an oval base-length from the back of the board. He flies on 36", can't end up behind you flying another 36", he only gets a single vector strike turn 4 and then has to go hover mode. The baleflamer is terrible against tervigons, especially if they're buffed.

I think we were playing that as a battlement that had nothing "inside" so I can't assault it, can't shoot at it, and the big guy can't go inside it. I needed some little dudes to go in and get the guys up top, but never had anything in place.

You can just assault the building to wreck it.

I did enjoy beating him last night in our rematch, I'm sure he'll claim it is because we did a 2v2 Planet Strike game however.

Greatest moment was Abaddon vs Swarmlord, Swarmlord about to kill Abby and then 5 cultists rush in to give "moral support" Abby re-rolls his failed INV save and then kills the Swarmlord :(

The re-roll from Swarmlord's swords and the re-roll from the 'moral support' cancel each other out to my knowledge. Or technically you re-roll it no matter the result, but really, then you might as well just roll once.

The moral support re roll is weird because he used it to re roll his failed save. You can't re roll a re roll so Swarmy couldn't force the re roll on the save.
