So Im considering making a Raven Guard army since I enjoy Assault Marines, however I cant find a list of colors used except GWs and I dont want to buy 27 paints. Also I only find guides for black but when I look at the FW upgrade kit (first picture that pops up) they look really dark green which I think looks really good. Any help picking the right paints for that greenish color would be much appreciated!

When I worked for Games-Workshop we had to paint up a squad of raven guard for Games Day. We really used only black, Codex Grey, White, Blood red, Boltgun metal. Our raven Guard came out wonderful looking. this of course was back about 7 years ago

The Raven Guard are Black and White. Their successor chapter the Raptors are green:

I would go with one of the Vallejo's US Dark Green.

BTW Forgeworld does upgrades kits for them too:

The Raptors might be green, or they might be yellow and blue. Check the bottom of the page you linked to.

Officially though, they are green now. The blue/yellow and blue/bone schemes are old.

The reason they look slightly dark green is because the painters do their own custom mixes. In the case of the Raven Guard models(Korvydae and the Veteran Upgrade kits at least), they started with Chaos Black and gradually added a mixture of Chaos Black and Charadon Granite(a grey color which had a hint of green/khaki to it).

You could do something similar now using Vallejo colors I think.

Not true. The green scheme appeared in Codex Armageddon between the yellow/blue scheme in White Dwarf and the 'How to Paint Space Marines' book. To muddy the waters even further, the Raptors appear in a Forge World book in both schemes (with the green scheme being used for a specific campaign IIRC).

I know thats what they do. I was wondering if anyone had a color recommendation for the green to mix in to achieve that slightly black/green combination

Well, it would depend upon the paint range you want to use.
