Have picked up the manual, Latigo Posse, Miss Terious and the Open Graves boxed set. I went for Fedex delivery (nigh on 30 bucks, rather than 14 odd international shipping) but I want my goodies before Christmas.

Are there any long term release dates on when certain crews will be released?

Some of those look really great but sadly enough the international shipping plus the fees that will be added by our dear goverment mean that I'll just wait untill they are available here through normal channels. A bit of a shame, would have like Sntana and the Alternate Perdita since I play that crew most of the time but I can live without .

The translucent crews look great though, maybe it's good that shipping is to much of an obstacle . To much stuff to paint still.

The War Store generally has some solid, up to date info, and has a variety of crews listed for Nov (delayed), Dec and Jan. I think Wyrd has essentially the same list up on their site, though the former has been quicker to update than the latter for a while now.

The option to buy the Miss Terious figure has pushed me into starting the Guild crew I've been thinking about for the last year or so. The new plastic starter boxes didn't hurt either; Torch and the Flame for me, love those little Witchling Stalkers.

A thought; if you're in no big rush, the Torch and the Blade is scheduled for release in late December (note; they're not even shipping until the 5th, so you might even be able to buy from a local store around the time the package would arrive anyway), and while $25 isn't a bad price for Miss Terious, a gigantic pile of them are likely going to hit the secondary market in early 2014, whenever Wyrd finishes up the Through the Breach books and fires of backer packages to them, as they had an 'early pledge reward' that included getting one free.

Not saying you shouldn't buy in now, but you'll probably get Sonnia's crew for way less than $40 plus their usual significant S&H. Of course, if you want a LE Perdita and/or don't want to wait those extra weeks/months for some stuff, that could make up for a lot, but $100 at their store generally doesn't get nearly as much as $100 elsewhere.

Bit annoyed that Pandora and Viktorias were supposed to have a November release, haven't shown up on MM or Warstore, and they're selling them here.

Have a Miniatures Market preorder waiting on the Viks because I assumed they'd be out the same time as Eldritch Horror.

Wyrd new releases are usually at stores around the last week of the month, so even when something is a November release, they aren't actually available till the very end of the month anyway.

Yeah, I learned that early in my days of Malifaux.

When they say it'll be available in "March", that generally means around March 27th or so, as a purely hypothetical example.

Is the alt pose perdita something that was released elsewhere, or is thus the first place/time it's been available?

I believe it has never been released anywhere else, though it does look similar to the old alt pose Perdita that was released in metal.

Look at it this way; they're selling Miss Terious' now for $25, so there's a chance that during one of their next sales you might be able to buy one outright rather than pay $100 + S&H for stuff you're not that excited about.

I mean, might have to wait 6-12+ months, but they have fairly regular sales, and they've set the precedent for LE figures to possibly show up during them.

That said... I couldn't help myself, and picked up the Nightmare Tara box in translucent. I figure an ultra-rare sculpt, in ultra rare "special plastic" will make for a neat collectible at the least. Also bought translucent Pandora crew as the clear-green Sorrows are gonna look AMAZING!

Man, I love a good rare(ish) item as much as the next guy, but Miss Terious was never terribly 'rare'. She was one of their "spend $100, get one free" items during Gencon 2012, and they're giving out, like, another 1000 of them with Through the Breach boxes in Q1 next year.

Winning the league is something nobody can ever take away from you, but I bought mine off Ebay for $30 not long after Gencon ended, and they haven't exactly been burning up the completed listings even a year and change after release.

Agreed, their spend $100 minis are pretty common and usually go for $25-35

Hell, once my backer box comes in I'll probably sell off the LE figures (Miss Terious, Santana, Hannah and the Hanging Tree) in an effort to recoup some cash.

I doubt they'll fetch a ton as some have in the past, but it'll be worth a shot.

Oh, and I know Miss Terious wasn't a treasure per se... I just have an extra association with it as it was a league prize (and I pulled off miracles to win it, beating some insanely obsessive players of the game), and as such, it holds a special place in my heart. :-) I'm all for everyone having access to exclusives.

I love the Perdita sculpt, she just looks so bad-ass with that cigar.

If anyone spent $100 and is up for selling the alt perdita, I'd be interested in picking one up.

Yep, as much as I love Malifaux, I almost never buy anything but exclusives from their store- the rest are trades or discount places.

This year, though, I assumed correctly that they were going to prerelease McMourning, and needed to pick him up early: sold my older crew some months back and have been itching to play him again, don't think I could have waited a full year before playing the maniac again, esp. since they replaced his abusive summoning with a better theme.

Fortunately, I have enough crews that I can wait for better prices.

Yep, in every other case, I'd agree, but the good doctor holds a special place in my heart... can't wait to get him back on the table, slicing and dicing, and trying him out as a law man.

When do these things ship out from wyrd?

Having paid for two day shipping which was not optional i was hoping to have received them by December 10 at the latest.

They were supposed to start shipping on the 5th, yeah, not awesome that they make you pay for higher shipping costs, but it's a bit like this every year.

Some have gotten theirs, some haven't. Considering the error with tara packages, I expect they started packing shipments that included her set on the 6th.

Even if they started shipping on the 5th, it might take them a while to get all the packages out.

Apparently the warehouse is generally a bit light on staff so they chew through them as fast as possible, but they might not even have all of the packages out yet, given that it's only been 4 business days since the 5th, and as noted, that also assumes they started on time.

Not that it alleviates your frustration any, just saying, it's kind of a pattern.

Orders are mostly shipped in order they are received. People who ordered immediately on Thursday are reporting they have gotten their packages. (and some have posted pics)

I would imagine most people will have them end of week.

Ordered thursday, just got my tracking info this morning, says it should get here tomorrow...

I ordered on the thursday too, have not heard a thing. I would not normally be fussed but I paid $30 for 7 to 9 day shipping, there is no way I am going to get my delivery in that window. Pretty frustrating.
