So just wondering what people think of each of the Land Raiders...
Personally my favourite is the Redeemer (gotta love them flamestorm cannons)
What do you guys think? Please state why

It's really hard to say. I do like the basic Land Raider. The Crusader is also good. Haven't built my GK Redeemer yet. Haven't built my Red Scorpions Helios yet. Built my Spartan this week and plan to try out it today with my Red Scorpions legion.
On paper, I would go with the Spartan: huge transport capacity, more lascannons, more HP, for only a few more points over the basic Land Raider.

I'd wonder why the redeener got so mu ch "extra" attention'  . there mighta been a reason. lol
I think because it has a bigger 'fear factor", especially against meq or horde armies.

Except the ceramite armor is an upgrade that is paid for separately, so that would all be more than just 45 points more.

I don't own the books, so not 100 precent on this, but when I saw it, ceramite armor came standard for its points.

I could have sworn i saw this poll a couple weeks ago (not complaining, just a case of deja vu...)
I went with the crusader. Lots of transport, lots of anti-infantry, and with the multi-melta even a touch of anti-just-about-everything.
The Redeemer is a close second.
I don't own a spartan, but man, if i did, that sucker would almost certainly be tops on my list. That thing is just awesome.

Yeah, even the fluff on Forge World's website indicates its based off the land raider design but so different from a land raider it couldn't be considered a variant. Size difference alone should be enough, seems like its a super heavy for space marines.
I love the design and idea of the Achilles. But the Ares is also a good looking tank. Never owned or field either, but I would like to!

You know what? I'd like to have something to choose from as Chaos Marine. Afaik you only get the regular one and maybe the proteus. I think this is deliberate discrimination.

I voted for the Redeemer, purely because I have great success barbecuing Tyranids with it, also a nice transport for my 10 man Sternguard with combi-flamers and heavy flamers, led by Chaplain Cassius of course. I like templates..

Still the crusader, especially as GK or DA. Hurricane bolters are pretty meh, but when they are S5 or fire 2x the shots you can start putting out some serious firepower. Throw on the assault cannon for some more anti-inf power, especially against 4+ saves. The MM can be independently fired with PotMS and the LRC is one of the few platforms that actually can survive to get in MM range.

The regular land raider.
The crusader and redeemer are both garbage, the former giving you no more firepower than a few marines with bolters, and the latter being equipped with two flamers that can never be fired at the same time, and aren't likely to get to fire at all (and if they do, will do very, very little against opponents who know what displacement means.
Both of them are just glorified rhinos. Not worth it.
Meanwhile, the variants that give you extra guns at the cost of transporting are just glorified predators. Once again, not worth it. Just take predators.
The regular land raider, on the other hand, is all things for all occasions. With the TLLC and multimelta it has serious firepower, and with good transport capacity, it can deliver enough terminators to make a real difference, or a large enough scoring squad to be able to take a turn of punishment out of their ride at the end of the game.
As for CSM, they don't need variants. They already have the best one.
