A good list (altough it does seem to be 1020 points in total).

BA Drop Pod lists have been on my mind for a while and this for one seems intresting... I'm just wondering if the 5-man squads are strong enough.

I'd concider Corbulo. He can turn those suicide Sternguards into a gamelong pain in the butt for the enemy.

I... take a sang guard. at LEAST one.. (I dun like drop pods, you can deep strike your assault marines. )

Meaning a Priest perhaps?
And yes, you can deep strike them but then they will have a risk of dying (yes, even with DoA).
And Pods can be deployed as a tactical cover wherever needed.

pods are open so can be seen through, but yes I meant sang priest, the FnP is, imo, invaluable. (sorry, bit dreary eyed)

A sang priest is a waste of points in a 5 man squad. The fnp and furious charge will never earn its points back!

Will still slow down the enemy and it's not 100% clear sight trough it so there will be some cover.
