Well, this next bit is a spoiler. I like the idea of a challenge map linked by a story though. I'm excited for it at least as something more challenge-wise.
"Initiation" description in spoilertags.
Spoiler:
Set high in the Paektu-San Mountains of North Korea, the Initiation Add-On follows a young Bruce Wayne as he faces his ultimate test. Players will embark upon a series of challenge maps that test their martial arts training across exotic locales, including a bamboo forest and a mountain top monastery. Fans will face fresh enemies along with an epic final test to prove their worthiness to Bruce's greatest and most pitiless teacher, Kirigi.
That's why I've been convinced to not buy season passes. If pre-ordering is stupid, then season passes are worse, plus every now and again you get Gearboxed and end up with a season pass that doesn't actually get you all the DLC.

Honestly the only reason I nabbed the Origins season pass is that at $20, you are getting the skin packs for free for all intents and purposes. Initiation was $6.99(plus tax) and the as yet unnamed story DLC is looking to be about on par with Harley Quinn's Revenge which was what, $10-12 at its launch?
Turns out that the season pass issue yesterday was partly magnified because of some big issues with the "China Rising" DLC release for Battlefield 4 demanding the full attention of the Live Marketplace team for most of the day. Some people were getting triple charged for China Rising...which is kind of a big deal.
