I used to have a huge Urban War Koralon army, excellent models. Kinda wish I hadn't sold it.
Still have over a hundred Urban War Viridians though (with two Leopard 2A6 and three Marder 1A3 for armor and IFV support )

they'll be fighting Corporation or Veer-Myn in Warpath soon enough...

I have an unused blister of UW's Triad Dragonflies kicking around somewhere as well. And there is a DZ Rebs model that has wings. Hmmmm.

so progress! It was finally warm enough for dullcote. Here are my Deadzone Rebels:

here are my Enforcers, in a very quick and dirty scheme:

Those rebs are very nice, I like the skin tone for the grogans and sorak. Trying to wrap my head around the blue Yndij, as soon as my mind is done being blown, I think I'll really like them

The enforcers look like they've been in the deadzone for awhile, they look like hell (in a good way).

Nice work. Blue skin tones on the aliens? I'm stealing that.

Love the Reb, Polonius. The blue skin is very Avatar-esque, but works nicely.

I need a little inspiration, I'm currently painting up my Yndij characters, I'm going for the Red XIII look with red skin and orange and black hair but I could do with a few suggestions for armour and clothing colour, any suggestions?

I used a ceramic-style white for the armour on all my Rebs, including a red-skinned Yndij, and it certainly works to tie them together, unifying the force without overpowering any of the colours.

hmm, greyish white could work, nice neutral colour which would show off the details, I think brighter colours might clash a bit too much with the red and orange, so i could go for white armour plates but what about the clothing underneath, maybe a really pale blue?

I went with a dark brown for the clothing, as it contrasted nicely with the armour and didn't upstage any of the various alien skin tones.

Thanks! I saw them, and just immediately thought "Space skinks." I also love painting things in turquoise.

with the blue skin they kind of look like Nightcrawler from the X-men, and with the redish orange hair the also have links to Mystique which is pretty cool, good colour selection

Those Yndij are indeed fantastic. I went for a red face, white goatee, the rest in blue, but I wasn't quite happy with it. The blue skin/orange fur combination actually works out great.

After much pondering I finally settled on a colour scheme for my Yndij, not 100% sure if it works but here they are, let me know what you think

Those look great I think the white really helps showcase the red, and I like the natural look for the pouches. My dudes are all 'hurr look at us we're scifi' black with edge highlights, I really like your white approach. I'd consider swiping it but painting white is a sometimes thing for me.

I like the RedXIII coloring on the tails too, I started to do it but didn't have it turn out. May try again on the next one.

Yep, they look great. The white and red works well, as do the spot colours.

cheers, It doesn't show up too well on the camera but the white is actually a really really pale grey and the clothing underneath is a P3 formula paint called jack bone, its a strange pale greenish brown which i think worked quite well with the browns and reds.

The tails did take a bit of effort but I think they turned out quite well although next time I'm going to have to use brighter shades of yellow and orange to make them stand out a bit more.

Doing a bunch of shading only to have someone tell you, looks good bro give it a wash, you have obviously not heard of them and they are good, is annoying

looking forward to seeing these plague pics, I'm interested in seeing what colour combinations you've used to compliment the green skin tones.

To be honest it won't really be matching colours for the clothes. I want to give the impression that the Plague infected are pretty indiscriminate when it comes to "recruiting" new guys. I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on those Plague Zombies for Part II of the DZ pledge.

GrimDork, I'm stealing your Scout Shotgun idea for the defenders so I can start my own. I also need ONE open helmet head from the DZ commander. I know most people used the closed helmet, so this should be an easy request guys.

I haven't been through my stuff that thoroughly yet but I probably don't need it, even when I finally get around to assembling both I'll probably use the closed helmets.

I kind of want to take a picture of that guy and meme it up, Robocop has a face too, you wanna fight about it?

So the moment you've all been waiting for... (okay, maybe not). My Deadzone Defender has arrived. Thanks to JudgeDoug for the suggestion to use an Elohi head and GrimDork for the Scout Shotgun idea. I give you...First Sergeant Defender Steven Rogers! Body is an Enforcer MVP, Shield is GreenStuff, head is Elohi and the shotgun is from a SM scout.
