Switch it up, I don't want my rebs looking too uniform.

Nice looking paint job on the Reb there, a good selection of browns that look different but still make the figure feel unified
I'm doing the same thing with mine by changing the colour scheme for each one to make them feel a bit more disorganized but I'm still having trouble deciding on the colours for the next one.

I just inventoried the baggie the Sorak comes in and he's missing his gun and gun arms/legs/whatever. Crap.
Submitted a ticket just now to Mantic.
We're moving in a month so am I kidding myself that replacement bits will get here before then

So, more rebels are being worked on...my Grogans will resemble an X-man who defeated the Legacy Virus, and the Sorak, well, they're making one that wields blades, has a tail and looks demonic. His fate is sealed. Hopefully he doesn't also take a sentinel arm through the chest to save his sniper-commander.

Yes, yes it would be. Haha. Did you place the one who shares a similar genetic code to gambit, just forgive the beard? Remember, gambit is an "orphan".

hmmm difficult one, I guess there are rumours that a certain Nathaniel Essex mat be his real father in a genetic sense, but at the same time he may also share DNA with Scott Summers, either way both would make pretty good colour schemes.

Well done, JayDee. Actually, Clairemont addressed in his X-Men: The End story arc that Essex spliced his DNA with Cyclops' and used enhanced growth to age Gambit rapidly. So Essex and Scott Summers are both Gambit's biological fathers.

Not a commonly known thing, but when the creator of Gambit declares that to be his origin, well...I accept the creator's word as gospel.

Painted this guy last night. Was up late, because I plan to fight him tonight after work. Sprayed him with Dullcote this morning, brought him still wet in the car with me on the way to work, now he's sitting on my desk while he finishes curing. We'll see if any of my coworkers notice.

Pretty nice Grogan man, really rough and dirty, he looks like one of the early battle worn T-600 Terminators

Oh, finally got El Beardo finished, I went for the black and red combination and I think he turned out pretty badass

El Beardo looks great I may have to dig back through this and take another look at your raised table set-up. After seeing how cool yours and mantic's latest offering look, I'm really getting the itch to make a raised board... they're pretty swell.

Yeah it turned out quite nicely and I think it works quite well with the fiery red hair, he's almost like a human version of the Yndij paint scheme but for my next model I'm going to have to try something a bit different, there are too many blues and reds in my Reb force so far.

Heh cheers man, yeah I saw the mega build for the mantic Deadzone tiles, that thing looks EPIC!!! I'm progressing really slowly with my board so far, just adding a few little details and cleaning up a few places but I should be getting a few more photos posted sooner or later.

Nice looking rebs .

Speaking of which, is anybody here interested in acquiring more Rebels? I'm not a big fan of the models in all honesty so I was looking to send them to a good home. Be quick as my brother is looking for more heavy stubber cultist substitutes (which the Grogans might fit very nicely)

Pass! I've got a double starter and booster bundle, that should do me for awhile if not ever. It is a really cool faction though

Got some work done on my plague, hopefully I'll keep a little momentum and be able to share them with you guys sooner than later.

Two more done, "El Beardo" is in mourning for his dead redheaded wife, so he forgot to shave for a few days (weeks). However, rocking his red shades, he decided to jump into the Deadzone and fight alongside his fellow misfits. The Sorak looks demonic, but he's a pretty friendly and religious guy. He smells of brimstone though, so don't get too close.

oh...dear...GOD!!! these get better, the Nightcrawler paint scheme is perfect, If I get another Sorak consider that colour combination stolen

Classic Cyclops looks pretty cool as well, I think he blinds them with colourful wardrobe before blasting them!!

And the continued use of the name "El Beardo" ... is this becoming an official term now? I've got images of Mantic doing a playthrough..."El Beardo is hit!!! Beardo is returning fire!!!"

Looks awesome. You should do the Yndij as Azrael- Night Crawler's dad

And now for a WIP shot of my Plague Teraton...

The Nightcrawler colour scheme is great congrats dude.

It does make me more angry at knight models did their marvel models in the wrong scale

Would love to have some marvel minis to add to my 28/30mm collection.

interesting Teraton AoV the colours seem to work quite well so far, in all fairness I think most of the Teraton models I've seen are actually better than the official mantic one

I think the primer may have made it a bit bluish. Might have to revisit it with another coat of Incubi Darkness...
