Since escalation and stronghold assault have come out, how are you planning on killing super-heavies and gargantuan creatures? Suddenly, a farsight bomb looks far better, especially against things like Revenant Titans who can blow up your entire army turn 1 and require two rolls to hit in order to actually hit it.

Get your hands on D weapons.

Also, Sternguard with combi-meltas. Nothing says Get Off mah Land to a super heavy tank like 10 sternguard rocking combi-meltas.

Replace meltas with plasma for monstrous creatures.

Any application of melta does the job, but if you really want to kill one, apply all the melta.

Only the eldar titans are impossible to kill, everything else is easy enough (well except that stupid ctan)

I'm considering getting another hammer head or riptide if my group "escalates" with super heavies. Ive only paged through the Apocalypse rule book but I figure 3 hammerheads would help.

D weapons blow up hammerheads on a 2+ with no saves of any kind allowed. Can reliably blow up 2 a turn. Really the only way to counter super heavy is with cheap (relatively speaking) units like meltas drop pods (easily countered with bubblewrap) and other super heavies.

I think the C'tan is killable with massive fire power, the Revenant is another story.

Also, 2-page thread here with practically the same title. I hope that helps!
