Oh, sorry. I thought you were thinking that the studio material had said something like that. It's a somewhat common misconception.

Naw I try my best to avoid slipping on SoB fluff. I've (I blame dakka dakka) grown to like them quite a bit and the only thing holding me back is the price of 10 Sisters Honestly, I should have rephrased it so my apologies Troike.

Sisters have their Acts of Faith, though. I'd say that this does indeed put them on top as unmodified human armies in the Imperium go.

To each their own, I suppose. Personally I prefer the Imperial Guard and Navy simply because at the end of the day they're the ones who put their lives on the line without the benefit of super-advanced tech/bio-augmentation. All they have is their ordinary Human courage, a suit of nigh-worthless flak, a relatively weak if reliable laser weapon, their faith in the Emperor and the Human race, and their comrades standing beside them.

Yeah, I know its from Warhammer, but it applies just as well to the Imperial Guard and Navy.

And tons and tons of toys (tanks, artillery, etc)

One Third-party character featured in a CCG produced by a third-party company.

By the Codices and anything directly related to the table-top, or published by GW, there is no such thing as a "Corrupted" Sister of Battle.

Being "mind controlled" by a Psyker also isn't anything at all like the same thing, as it has nothing to do with your own free will.

And even then, I consider it canon, keep in mind that it is openly noted it is only 1, single, individual Sister that has ever fallen to chaos.

I don't.

No Sister has ever turned to the service of the Ruinous Powers of Chaos.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Well, there is that part in the Grey Knights codex that mentions several Sisters of Battle being corrupted by Chaos with the Grey Knights slaughtering the remaining pure Sisters to make amulets.
Of course, it was written by Matt Ward...

That's not turning to the service of the Ruinous Powers.

The various arcane powers wielded by various Chaos Champions and such can still kill a Sister, or a Grey Knight, but they die with their spirits unbroken and their minds still theirs, even as their flesh sprouts tentacles and crab-claws and other mutations as they're flooded with Warp Power. While the corruption of Chaos is what kills them, their souls remain uncorrupted and they do not give Chaos their oaths of fealty.

That's nothing at all like what Sabathiel did in that CCG.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Also, wasn't Bloodtide an ancient piece of technology used by a daemon prince rather than chaos itself?

Semantics; he's still a Daemon Prince.

The space wolf codex says "the ecclesiary and 3 orders of sisters attempted to enter fenrisian space." I doubt they even reached the ground. With the firepower the Fang can put out "The fortress-citadel of the space wolves is one of the greatest bastions of the imperium, still reckoned the greatest outside Terra" and the defense lasers and space wolf cruisers it would have been a space battle well out of the ecclesiarcs ability to win, hence the withdrawal.
