(the two reasons i see for this squad for is blob squad elimination, str4ap4 largeblast ignores cover
then 32 str3ap5 shots afterward, this is the definition of how to kill a blob.

Not enough aa for 2k pts, I would go for another hunter exarch.

I would swap autarch out for a farseer on bike with MotLG and stones, so he can zoom around the table and kill everything.

Given the aa side of things for no extra cost you could swap out one or two scatter lasers for bright lances.

I disagree with the extra Hunter Exarch. AA is easily provided by Serpents and Warp Spiders in a pinch. I also think that blob removal can be easily achieved by the Serpents...so the Swooping Hawks are a bit more redundant than a better tank-killing unit would be.

Right now you lack ranged tank-killing power, AV14 will give you some issues, especially if they are armed with Assault Cannons to counter Serpents. Your current list only provides 3 total options for AV 14 counter.

what instead of hawks, shining spears? or a squad of spiders, cause 180 is limited i could take another crimson hunter, non exarch, or a fire prism and give the autarch a fusion blaster

180pts is a hunter exarch, 7 shining spears, 3 support batterys of any typ, 6 reapers with crack missiles, or war walkers with lances.

fixed it and made it exactly 2k 2 FoC tho which i was trying to avoid i guess most tourneys will be designed that way anyway, still low on the av 14 killing power but the 2 exarchs should handle it or the autarch or the spears. hopefully ill face little av14 and be fine

You didn't list the 2nd Autarch. However, he can't be identically equipped as Remnants of Glory are only 1 per army (not 1 per detachment). If possible, you could tweak the 2nd Autarch to join the Shining Spears with possibly the Shard of Anaris (Fearless and can challenge and possibly Instakill big things like Demon Princes). Food for thought.

i was talking about the 2 crimson hunters not autarchs, and you can have 2 at 2kpts cant you, one per detachment? and with 2 FoC (that your allowed at 2kpts) i should be allowed a second one

No. That's not how it works. You have dual FOC, but that's still one detachment. Each detachment is allowed one crimson hunter exarch. Sorry dude.

Haha, for what it's worth, I think you have plenty of AA. You can take a crimson hunter without being an exarch! And spend the 20 points elsewhere. Personally I love wraith units!

180pts is hard to fill with something decent, so i brought some more shining spears i figure they can back up the autarch on what ever mission he decides to do, i know they cant join him but being assaulted by both would be shattering. to make them fit i dropped a shruiken cannon off one of my wave serpents. good move? bad move?
