Hi folks,
Just a bit of an issue I'd like to make known and have a moan over. I ordered a small amount of flats, for my arena rex arena project, from Berliner Zinnfiguren (which I will not link) around a month and a half ago, and I picked them up from the parcel delivery office today (apparently no stock).
When placing the order I was charged 13euros for P&P (Germany to UK) on a 27euro order. At the time I found it pretty expensive but paid it as it was the only place I could find what I was looking for.
When I picked up the order, my flats were inside a small box (approx 120x80x30mm). It weighs around 100g.
For reference, an Infinity starter box direct from Corvus Belli, which is a good bit bigger and heavier, costs 8.40euros. BZ use DHL, CB use Correos.
Now. What annoys me is that my nice, small BZ box, was packed into a much bigger box along with a glossy, A4 sized, 225 page, ~500g catalogue!
I did not ask for this (I have the internet), I do not need it (again, internet), I cannot use it (100% in German).
Can't help feeling that I've been taken advantage of a bit.
So that was it, just a moan. Also, I hope that this post might just attract the attention of people thinking of ordering from BZ, and searching for opinions, and, before they place that order, encourage them to type.....
"No ridiculous catalogue please, Berliner Zinnfuren!"
Thanks,
Alan
