Hey everyone, I purchased a tau codex on eBay for 5 bucks, couldn't believe my luck. Well it arrived today. And guess what, it was printed, as in on normal paper. I checked to if I could send it beck and get a refund, but to send it back would be seven dollars, and I'm not losing money to send it back. So, I'm trying to work out wether I have the fifth or sixth edition codex, can anyone tell me how I can tell (besides cover)

It sounds like either a total fake or a scan of the real codex. See if the art resembles that of the 6th codex (ie; In color).

Is there a flier? Is there a guy named "Longstrike"? Is there a Riptide? If yes, you have the new codex.

Man, that's too bad. If it seems too good to be true, it'll probably turn to chaos.
Reminds me of that time I saw a Dreadnought on eBay for about six or seven dollars, I just didn't even bother.

I'd definitely complain that you were sent a pirated copy.

I'd report them through eBay. Did you pay via PayPal coz you might be covered there too. Just recheck the description for the codex, you might have missed the fine print. Either way it's out and out fraud.

If you paid via paypal then you should be able to get your money back.
