I just answered your most recent poll: I'd only play against it as a warhound.

This is for a couple of reasons:
1) The leviathan is closer in size to the warhound than to the knight, according to GW measurements
2) People have been using these as warhounds before the knight rules came out, I'd be confusing if there were two on the board and one was a knight and the other a warhound
3) I'm one of the people mentioned at 2)

So, while I'd personally would only play it as a warhound just to save a lot of confusion, I'd have no problem playing against it as a knight if my own crusader wasn't on the table

Official rules helps a lot yeah. Now that there's official knight rules - in my area you could take your pick, knight or warhound and we'd bow at your feet for gracing us with the presence of such magnificent beasts.

Excellent work on your models. I would love to play against the HellKnight of yours in any form, if I still played 40k

I hope my DFG Leviathans turn out half as good as yours!

I little update on painting, but more importantly the Reaver made it into a game (but only as terrain, hey it counts! lol)

Well I purchased it on eBay from Blood and Skulls, but after a quick google search I believe that is the same person behind it.

Well I finally got started on my second hell knight... This one is the Mortis version. He his mostly built, primed and ready to be put together to start the actual painting!



Please excuse the filth lol.

Utterly blown away, everything looks fantastic and I would love to see these in a game.

I managed to get both of my knights and reaver into a game yesterday!
(Also I added a different effect to the eyes to make them look like they glow)

Thanks! and I am! Though I have not had much success in effectively using the knights in larger scale battles...

In other news I finally broke down and got a much better Titan deployment system than the old bubble wrap and cardboard boxes method:

Rock up to a game carrying that case and people know you mean business, like you're assembling your own rifle on a rooftop in a movie ; p

Well I haven't made a post in here in a while so I thought I would make an update. Since last posting I have started an Eldar Army and have been working pretty exclusively on that (after becoming rather burned out working on Chaos stuff exclusively)
