Heh, and all built from the same Imperial Muniturom Standard Issue M sized Wooden Logs. Good work, its looks very homely for the front (if I am humming Grizzly Adams theme right now). Though for the 40k universe that definitely needs a big Imperial Aquila over the door and the skulls of former officers in the loft.

OK... All WIP so far is awsome... so... I thought to start all over again... same idea, same matterials but now I'm more exeprienced. Fast pace and catching up...

1st Step: The frame... far more sophisticated and stable (Pic1).

2nd Step: Fully stretched canvas. Following my instinct and littletower's advice I covered the "canvas" matterial with PVA glue.

3rd Step: Pop-Quiz: What are the windows/frames made of (Pic2) ??? I'm really, really proud of this!!! [Answer: tomorrow evening...]

Everything on here looks great so far, keep going guys .

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'll be able to enter this time around, I'm just swamped under with other projects at the moment.
I know there's still plenty of time left, and if things change, and I can find the time, then I might throw something together at the last minute,
but I doubt it.

I'll still be watching, and looking forward to seeing everyone's entry's come together .

Nope... tip #1 dimensions: 1.4 x 1.1 cm for each of the windows. It was a serendipity that suited this purpose

then probably a package for pills?...that would be much closer to scale anyways...

it is something plastic? I see a small "mold" -line at the underside of the windows...hmmm.....

Its definitely something plastic...a cap or an insert or blank, or some other normally disposable bit. A brilliant bit though!

Not where I should be

My beloved told me this joke today, spoilered as I wish to offend no one ever.

Spoiler:

Whats the difference between terrorists and the wife?

Spoiler:
You can negotiate with terrorists.

Sorry, but it is funny and true.

Lol...well...if that would be a general truth...then I'd be an Israeli husband...(they don't negotiate with terrorists...)

Except of course if my wife thinks it is time to have a walk at the fresh air...then she is a Borg...as in...resistance is futile...

I have asked the same question to myself.
According to my research many WW1& WW2 tent did not require any external supprot from cabling. Perhaps not of this size, but I thought that this would be standard squad equipment so it had to be portable, light and effective. The external "power unit" provides power for equipment, clima and pressure stabilization in hostile environments. Also the required space for deployment with cabling support would be about twice of what is needed without it.

A secondary use could be to conceal a Centaur from the enemy. I think that it fits...

I have absolutely no idea if I'll have the time to get something finished before the deadline, what with work, drinking, wallpaper stripping, drinking, decorating, drinking, hanging a wall aquarium and most importantly drinking taking up my free time.

So with that said I'm entering the planning stages now. Because even if I don't finish it on time, at least I'll have some terrain at the end of it.
