I hope to have the mission choices for each day sorted out in the next couple of weeks.

Tentative mission line-ups:

Saturday:

Quadrant Control - one of the simplest missions for the first paired game.
Lifeblood - more complex but two sets of 200pt per side should make it easy to cover the middle area. Also, due to the smaller number of tables I already have enough crates/objectives!
Seize the Antennae - another relatively simple objective-based mission.

Sunday:

Beacon Race - a nice meaty mission to get started with, and also the one most likely to overrun in time.
Frontline - swap to a non-objective mission.
Supplies or Antennae Field, to be confirmed.
Annihilation - non-objective kill stuff mission to end the day.

I'm hoping to get four rounds in on Sunday but if Beacon Race takes too long we'll drop Annihilation, announcing this before we start round three, so we won't be getting to the end of round three wondering if there will be a fourth round or not.

Woo prize support!

From Micro Art Studio:

From Corvus Belli themselves:

The smaller stuff like bases and tokens will be split up into the goody bags.

Now that's some nice officially supplied prize support!

Should be a good time for all!

Thanks to a rush of bookings in the last few days (possibly helped by all that prize support) there's now 19 players booked in for Saturday and 22 for Sunday, although two of those are awaiting final confirmation.

I'll be measuring up the hall tonight to double-check how many tables we can fit in as Sunday looks like it's approaching capacity both in space and in terms of the number of physical tables available in the building...

Right.

Sunday is now full at 24 players, if anything slightly over-full.

It will be possible to expand into a second smaller room which would give enough room for thirty players total and give us a bit more breathing space in the main room. However I would need to book the extra room and also hire in additional trestle tables.

Anyone who wants to come on Sunday and isn't currently down as attending please let me know ASAP so I can expand the tournament.

EDIT - Pacific, I'm looking at you...

Would definitely love to come to this! Will see if I can get things organised (and it doesn't fall on a wedding weekend, as seemingly everyone I know is getting married this year) and let you know mate.. !

I've hired a second room to take it up to thirty players but Sunday is already almost full, only two places left!

Pacific - do you want to be added to the reserve list in case of any booked places not being paid for at the start of March?
