It's also on Nintendo DS
Yep, and hard as nails is an accurate assessment. Not to mention the fact it has a habit of rather destroying the fluff. A strike force consisting of 4 tacticals with plasmaguns and 2 sniper scouts is not exactly fluff-accurate.
If they did another Space Marine game then I would like the ending to not remind me that ward and goto write for Black Library. I want to be able to pick my own load out before the game starts not oh well you crash land on orky barge with only a dagger and bolt pistol with lots of orkies charging you. Im a damn Captain and as such I want my chain sword or power axe. I also want all the weapons to be the same as books and codex. If I want an Iron Halo to start with then that right is mine. I also want my command squad not some little jerk that whines about everything and says I must be corrupted by Chaos due to not being killed by the device. Here is a thought, maybe the main character is a latent psycher. I would like to see all the W40k video games be made by those that know and love W40k. Dawn Of War series I enjoyed much more.
Ask not what the Emperor can do for you but ask how you may give your life for the Emperor.
You start as a 'brother' fighting in FPS mode. Then you rank up to Sergeant and can zoom out into squad mode and give commands, then zoom right back to FPS and kill xenos.
When you reach captain you are fighting massive battles in command view (akin to DoW 1) and then can zoom into FPS mode and be in the middle of a battle spanning horizon to horizon.

I have been waiting for a game like that to come along for years, does anyone know of any half-way decent ones that exist already? But that would be cool, pinned down by a crisis suit, you zoom out and sen in a nearby dred to flank them, zoom back in as a plasma cannon blast knocks off one of the suits arms, you use this distraction to charge out of cover and plant a melta bomb on it's back, detonating and destroying it.

I think 'Savage' comes close... I think it was called 'Savage'... it was an RTS/FPS hybrid... it could have been called something else... I don't remember too clearly... and I fear Google.
I would like a game like the old 'Rampage' game but with GW's MCs.

I'd love to see some first/third person shooter action with multiple races. I'd love to see some Age of Empire style strategy instead of the dawn of war rubbish we got. I'd love to see some quality RPGs like Torchlight. I'd love to see a lot of things. But it's never gonna happen

There are few titles that I would love to see after "translation" to 40k:
(In no particular order)
- Full Spectrum Warrior - It would nicely play as IG.
- Overlord - ...someone mentioned Runtherd and grots earlier - Flatout - Ork racing game.
- Skyrim/FPP Fallout - that... I leave it for your imagination.
Flatout... how is that in comparison to the Twisted Metal series?
Twisted Metal was basically Ork Racing. THough I suppose it was less about racing and more about killing the crap out of everyone else. Which is comparable to Ork racing osmetimes.

Really similar. Twisted Metal have guns as opposite to Flatout series.
I would love to see marriage of these two.
Flatout physical engine, driving and damage model combined with hailstorm lead and copper, and wide and fast tracks and arenas a'la Twisted Metal.
I have read about "Next Car Game" - apparently it will be fully moddable:
Indeed, I would love to see that modded in to an Orky game.
I don't like racing games, but I can see that being fun anyway.

I would love a warhammer 40k game that's played just like the real tabletop turned based. Movement, Dice rolling, all that fun stuff. Make it online to and challenge other people. That would be awesome haha! Someone needs to make one asap haha! Id be on it all day

Right, but then where is the incentive to buy the physical models and play the actual table top?
I would love to see a Battlefront (Battlefield) style game, with their use of vehicles, flight and massive maps with destruction (even though it would all have to be turned to 11)
A Civilization (Civ) style game, less goofy but i like huge world RTS. All factions could be added, little tyranid spore 'cities' would be great to just stumble upon out of the Fog of War.
as for the fighting game, less story more Dakka!!
Add the primarchs (all of em)
a couple of noteable War Bosses
Captain Titus
Some Greater daemons, or daemon princes
Broad sides, or crisis suits
Necron lords?
Just nifty characters from all over the fluff and mash em into a fighting game.
Can you imagine if it was like MVC?
Leman russ, Aangron and Horus vs some eldar and tau ;3 sounds like something i would love to watch.

Ya I suppose that does make sense. But theres nothing like painting miniatures and actually playing with people and friends. It would just be a good alternative
But a battlefield style game would be awesome with vehicles, destructive environments, etc etc. That would be a fantastic alternative to the same kinda games that are coming out year after year....
I would like to see a white Scar/ Ravenwing fast paced shooter, making all these crazy battle field maneuvers and attacks. Also make it free driving instead of on a "track" so it's more akin to GTA V driving as apposed to star fox.
World of Tanks 40k style.
Or a game were you play a titan to help your forces out in a huge apocalypse style battle
Seriously, we need a proper Mass Battle tactical game for warhammer. Mark of Chaos was a disappointment, imo. It felt like an inferior Total War clone.
What I have
~4100
~1660

Peace through power!
A longbeard when it comes to Necrons and WHFB. Grumble Grumble

So pretty much Eternal Crusade then? The only difference really being that it's 3rd person.
That game looks terrible so far, from what little I've seen of the gameplay.
Pre Alpha footage, but it looks like a naff ripoff of Space Marine. Its in no way comparable to Planetside 2.
It's not a ripoff of space marine, it's using the same basic combat mechanics for it's marines.
It's in no way comparable to planetside 2..
It's a MMO3PS focussed around objectives and territory warfare between multiple factions. Players have access to multiple customizable classes and vehicles.
The only difference is the third person and setting so far.
