Well 1st - happy new year to all of you!

I participated in the Dreamforge Kickstarter and received my minis last year.
I was absolutely blown away by the quality of this plastic miniatures.
Simply some of the best 28mm kits around!!!

Took me some time, but here are the 1st plastic Eisenkern err "Clonetrooper".

The bodies and all equipment are from Dreamforge, the heads are from the OOP WotC bendy Star Wars game.

They are also another good example for my new book: Future Combat!
High Tech Infantry Platoon Fast or Light Support Elements;
Multirole Combat Suit Special Forces Squad - 200 points; Options: 2* Laser Carbine (0 points),
1* Laser Assault Weapon (+50 points), 1* Anti Tank Guided Missile Launcher (+55 points),
1* Medic upgrade (+25 points), Overall Cost: 330 points

I normally hate these types of conversions/paint jobs, but frak, those look phenomenal. The DreamForge bodies are gorgeous and those heads fit perfectly. Its a shame that they seem like they'd be hard to source.

Those are just lovely mate. I especially love the steadily dirtier armour further down the mini.

Quick question; the dirty armour look. Did you get that through the same way on your Death Guard Heresy minis?

I was always sincerely turned off by the look of the Eisenkern. This is a marvelous use of their boxy, weird armor. They fit in perfectly with the Star Wars Imperial wheelhouse. Marvelous whites, on top of that. Really, this is nothing short of stunning. You should be very proud.

Are they too big to be IG? That's a shame. I was also thinking that they would make an amazing looking guard army.
To me, they don't look heavy or well armed enough to be marines.

PM me about commission.

More or less yes, I use some MIG pigments on the feet. Otherwise the same.
