First model of the new year. Freak from Hasslefree's modern trooper line. I also have Harley to paint up as these miniatures are totally wonderful! Looking forward to trying to get much more painted this year. I doddled for far too long painting Khador's Conquest last time round.

Fully admit I just sort of went for the NMM thing and didn't nail the effect at all I just liked the way he was looking with no metallic paints on. Next time round I shall try to apply the theory properly.

That said, it is a very nice paintjob on a nice looking model (I've got a few from Empress Minis that I want to convert over into BF3 classes).
