How do biovores work now?
Say i fire brood of 3 biovores at target squad and hit. does it cause 1 pieplate with S6 (S4 base+2 for extra 2 spores), or 3 S4 pieplates ( normal multiple barrage) or 3 S6 pie plates (somehow)?

Also, if I miss, does every one of the 3 pieplates that missed spawn spore mine brood of d3 mines?

Broodlords fire as a Barrage unit.

Place the Large Blast marker. Roll Scatter.

Are there any enemy models under the large blast marker?
No -> Remove the marker, place d3 spore mines. Biovore shooting ends.

Yes -> Follow rules for multiple barrages, rolling scatter and placing templates as normal. NOTE: Second or Third templates which hit no enemy models do NOT place Spore Mines on the table. These templates are S4. (I believe is the base strength for the spore launcher).

Weapon Profile for the Spore Launcher. If you don't tirgger the Spore burst special rule, then it is treated like a normal barrage as per it's weapon profile.

The only time you get higher S on a blast is when you assault with a spore mine cluster, otherwise it's normal S4 AP4.
