Huh? There is no lightning claw daemon weapon in the artefacts section, so what do you mean?
That was one of the things I was unsure of. I didn't know if the only demon weapons were the ones from the artifacts or if you could just nominate power weapons if you chose. Thanks for pointing this out.

I chose the berzerkers for two reasons. First, I put a bunch of points into my Chaos Lord and to make him worth it, I had to get him engaged in the fight as soon as possible. To increase his longevity I needed a close combat unit to attach him to. I chose the berzerkers because they have good close combat stats, a decent price, and can mop up weaker units who might bog down the Chaos Lord before he claims the opposing warlord's head. Furthermore, the 4 attacks with a powerfist should balance out the bezerkers weakness to armored targets. Second, I already had the land raider and wanted to get full use out of it. The bezerkers can stay relatively safe in the Land Raider until they reach their destination and the land raider can continue to support them with its heavy weapons. I know that terminators typically go inside the land raider, but that seemed like a waste when I could deep strike them instead.
In terms of overall strategy, the bezerkers, lord, land raider, helldrake, and terminators are meant to be line breakers. They will engage the enemy on their side of the board and hopefully keep them occupied for most of the game. The other units can provide fire support and hold objectives, if things start going really bad the rhino marine squad can move up in support of the the main thrust in short order.
