To be fair, even the Pyrovore's fluff is hardly flattering. They're described as being the functional equivalent of functionally slowed acid mouthed murder cows with a dragon stapled onto them.
Sounds legit.
Their weapon is smarter than they are. Which is...all kinds of silly.
They just have to be standing the right way, the gun has to actually aim and plot out ballistic trajectories!
But it's a flamethrower used by a faction that cares nothing for friendly fire. Not exactly much need for precision.
They decided they want their weapon organism to figure its aim and spread via high precision liquid mechanics calculations.
Those are a bitch to process!

I want Eldar Craftworlds to work like SM Chapter Tactics.
Also, a named character worth taking.
Delete Death Mission and Executioner from Runes of Fate.

Mindless Spore Mine

Tyranids
Obvious things which as a non-competitive player were actually a lot of fun:
Ymgrl stealers, very fun and exciting to play with
Doom, OP yes, still fun yes, flavorful? In no way
Mycetic spores...just stupid that these were removed, gave the nids many more options when it came to devising tactics and strategies, also fluff wise...come on I mean its part of the basic routine of invading a planet!!
Also I think all the special charaters should be taken right out of the codex...they are nice to read about and know that in a particular battle there was a carnifex who just would not die or whatever, but I really dislike the idea of fielding them, the tyranids spit out fresh gribbles everytime they are required and I see it extremely unfitting that they would remake a very certain and specific carnifex or zoanthrope.
Other things..
I really enjoyed the army versatility and the fluff of the 3rd edition tyranid codex, it felt to me much more like the mindless adaptable swarm that it is. Being able to give your units specific boosts to certain states as you saw fit I think is exactly how the hive mind would operate, after picking up the new codex it just really doesn't feel all the nice..no immersion, more, here are the rules and units, now have fun or else.
Also I would really like to see some kind of accurate map of the entire 40k universe (it is probably shown somewhere, if so can someone point me in the right direction?) that clearly shows where each planet is, who occupies it etc, also including the nid fleets that are slowly closing in...

Dark angels were supposed to have a thang for plasma based weaponary, dont really see it.
Neffis are escorting a stormraven or similar dropship in the DA codex, not avalible...
dedicated AA is questionable. at best.
Deathwing Devastator Squads would have been a nice alternative to Centurions

Their termies get Plasma cannons, the only ones to do so.
They get unique Plasma on their ravenwing bikers.
The actuality is that they were the Chapter with the most Technologically based weaponry as a result of their hunting, hording, and the production factories they own that contain STC's they don't give out to the Imperium, which shows rather well with the power generator, rad tech, and some of the fancier gear.
Though it doesn't show as well because they are generally still mostly just marines at this point, and with SM getting Grav guns and all on even basic tac squads..

Longtime Dakkanaut

Lets see what's missing... -Tetras -Kroot shamans -Kroot Master Shapers -Kroots who'd be better in close combat than Fire warriors -Vespid who would be useful -Plasma rifles for Stealth suits -Sensibly designed Battlesuit wargear section -Multi-tracker -Target lock -Targeting array -reasonably designed Riptide But I guess apart from that it's ok...

Termies with PlasmaC isnt that special most Dev squads have acess to them even the lonly Tac squads have acess to PlasmaC
So they are left with the Plasma talons on bikes and the Plasma battery on the Vengence speeder, not much to show for. A landraider with plasma guns, two new fliers no plasma options? and they get two arguably 3 additional plasma based weaponary.
Cheaper plasma or safer to use something to distuingish DA slightly more from vanilla marines

But can that lowly tac or dev squad move and shoot with their Plasma Cannons? after Deep striking into the best position?
