The Maggot Demon looks as great as I hoped it would. I think a head with maggots crawling in and out of the mouth and eyesockets would look pretty cool. Maybe remove the horns on the new head to add another maggot squirming out of his cranium?

I got the "All the Demons" pledge but do not want the Spider Demon. Is there a way to add a bit to my pledge and get the Maggot Demon?

Why no "all the dragons" pledge level?

For the bundles, in the last week of the campaign more bundles and information on swapping out models from within the bundles will be released. Just so you know, you will be able to swap out models in equal pledge levels. The new bundles may make that a little easier for you as well, so make sure to check out that information arriving in the next three days.

Loving the Super Dead Head for the Zombie Dragon Jeremy! Really looks like the boney spikes have been worn away as time passes

Personally I think the nose horn is somewhat iconic and sets the undead dragon apart from the others. I'd much rather the alternate head retain it's shape and general size just with more wear and tear.

State of the campaign important info

Shipping prices will be reasonable. As it will be shipping from locations in Asia, eu, America and I forget the last spot, but will not be padded .

Also for countries with import duties( God Bless America), the cost will be based off manufactured price, not retail, this will be seen on the declared costs.

Two more models with unlocked parts coming out and that's it. (Possessed dragon, and plague angel) He won't continue to add stuff to try and bring in more cash, because he doesn't have the time to do it and still reach his shipping date. He is very set on meeting that goal.

Everything will be unlocked at $200,000. About $10k away right now so we will see all of these models in the campaign.

Everyone is getting a super secret special FREE model. He won't tell us what it is until after the campaign is over, but he said it's been talked about in the comment section of the campaign. (I'd like to think it's the Canadian chimera that was talked about a lot as all the other really discussed items have become models)

New bundles on their way next week, and you'll be able to swap out same level models(no word on exactly how that will be done, but said it would be announced next week)

Jeremy has been real receptive to all the comments in kickstarter and here on dakkadakka as well, I cannot attest to Facebook as I don't do that, but he keeps mentioning it in his videos. I'd recommend tossing at least a $1 into the campaign to support it if you can afford that, it's worth it just from the feedback you get from Jeremy in all his videos, comments, and openness to make changes to the models. He's a real class act and is running the campaign exactly how one should in my opinion.

Thank you very much for the summary, Theophony! Is the "possessed angel" a sculpt that has been seen before, or not? That certainly sounds interesting. I'm not a huge fan of the current plague sculpt (at least compared to the other amazing sculpts in this campaign!) so another in that type of vein as an option for people would be sweet.

It's a plague angel, not possessed. The pics of him have been in the video updates and most people have suggested head variation "B", but we haven't seen much of him. The possessed dragon (chaos ) was the one where the head is split vertically in two. Though Jeremy had mentioned that that was changing in another update earlier.

I'm with you on the plague creatures so far, but my budget is maxed out right now with having replaced my compressor and buying an airbrush. Looks like I'll be getting a tree walker(who can resist the jackalope ), a pincer demon, and I haven't decided which dragon( though I want to buy the mountain dragon because he's humping the rock he's perched on ) I might change it up as the angry demon looks fantastic without the horns.

Four dragons eh? Hard to resist that.


Quick question about KS in general. If I back at the $1 level I can add more funds later on so I can get more stuff yeah? I've only backed projects at the level I wanted. So I'm not quite 100% this.

Damn I hope the free model isn't a Canadian Chimera. Hopefully he takes the opportunity to make something cool instead of silly.

I'm sure it won't be- I think it's something he's had planned since before the campaign (although it apparently has been mentioned in the comments somewhere, I think it was already done beforehand).

The free mini is certainly not going to be a monstrous sized creature. That's simply not economically viable.

Its going to have to be a standard infantry-sized model or smaller. There have been a few mentioned in the comments section. Anyone have the time to check it out and make a speculative list?

The possessed dragon definite has my ears perking. I both love and hate this kickstarter. Love it because of all the phenomenal models. Hate it because I can't afford to pledge for them all. Hopefully the bundles will be as great as Jeremy has hyped them up to be.

Launching a new model in the wee hours of the night tonight, and then I am going to be launching another after 200K.

Then I am going to be doing a huge roundup of questions that I can answer, leading into the last week which is bundle week. Whew!

Happy 1000 backers! I am really excited to share with you the Plague Angel!



In terms of fulfilment and business, Things evolve and solidify more and more every day.

Sure, we enter into the campaign with a gameplan that is heavily researched, but I did not expect to meet SO MANY amazing people who have run extremely successful Kickstarters themselves. I have been in talks and meeting with these folks, and they are giving me advice on my first Kickstarter. This advice includes aspects of shipping, pledge management, etc. They are able to help me thru some of the things that they have had to encounter themselves and I am extremely grateful to everyone for their help.

This is a great community, and I just wanted to give a huge thanks to those who have decided to share their knowledge and experience with me.

Is there any chance of getting summaries of the videos in text form, or even transcripts? 99% of the time I'm at a computer, there's no sound available, so videos are pretty useless. Not to mention it takes 30 seconds to read the contents of a 6 minute video.

People do tend to transcribe them, skarsol. Theophony did this for the last video, see his post above.

You may just not be giving money at all then. The fat plague demon was moved out of the kickstarter entirely. It was too dense and heavy to be made economically (it'd cost more than the dragons). So they're exploring ideas of making it hollow or something but such processes are complicated and take them outside of the timescale of this campaign and delivery.

Unfortunately he will not be part of the campaign. Jeremy has said that there was too much material in the model to make it work (too much resin), and I believe it was too close to GW stuff. Jeremy has been very forthcoming with his 'respect' of GW and their images as he has felt their ire before.

I am hoping that he might be the super secret ultra special gift given to the backers when the campaign ends.

Theophony, that is Wayyyy too big to be a gift! The gift is likely going to be something very small- at most, a 28-32mm type model. That would be fantastic, but from my point of view isn't even needed here. I am looking forward to finding out what the gift is, but I think expectations for it should be low knowing that he'll be giving away 1000+ of them!

That's not the issue, the extra volume of resin needed to make him makes him non-viable at this point, not some extra time or shipping costs.

Maybe a smaller version of him. Since everything is 3d sculpted shrinking it down might lose some details, but I think might be possible.

But it's his texture that defines him (see details on tongues etc.) I wouldn't want a smaller one.

As for willing to wait longer: I'm sure they can figure out how to make him hollow. They should ship the first minis first then take their time to finalize fat boy.

I guess this makes him "Wave 2" though....

Hopefully. Though I do like the other two plague related guys they have already made.

Oh I'd definitely would prefer him over the others so far, though the maggot man is screaming to me to give him one of those oriental straw hats to make him look like the evil ninja from the anime 'Ninja Scroll'.

Either way less than $2000 from this project having everything unlocked. He's not doing anything past that to ensure he can make November release. Just need to see the new bundles to up my order.
