Bundles are up, you can swap your models within the same level now. The smallest bundle, which was already available, is now simply listed as Silver-Silver-Silver-Bronze (choose any models in those categories).

Looks like a savings of $20 over adding them individually onto an early bird.

A few local friends asked me about doing a bundle, but I think whether we should do so depends on the free gift... right now, we're thinking to stay separate so we can all get the gift. Any chance we'll find out what it is soon?

Edit: Also, now is a great time to snag an early bird since the bundle update was posted, as people adjust the pledge level they've selected. There was a silver open a moment ago that just got snagged, but there is still a gold early bird open.

To be honest I was expecting a bundle combining one of each level, Bronze-Silver-Gold.

@corgan, I was wanting that too, but I think ALOT of people want that and Jeremy would actually lose money rather than attract more backers.

I can't wait till these hit retail. I'm still backing and getting a bronze, silver and gold level, but I WANT more, just finances won't allow right now.

Wow Buttler, that's intense! The top bundle right? Will you be reselling some of them, or using (hoarding?) them all

Also, got an answer on the gift, it will be revealed post-campaign. No worries on my end, I was just curious... will let Jeremy be mysterious on this one for now

Creature Caster wrote:@Tides, I will be unveiling the free gift in the post-campaign. This is because of a few different reasons. It will not be shown beforehand. Sorry about that Tides. Thanks for your pledge.

Edit: And he posted this after!

Creature Caster wrote:The freebie is not going to be a 28mm. It will be larger than that, but not as big as the other models in the catalogue.

Sorry for my vague'ness. The Pledge Manager will launch three weeks after the campaign has ended, in order to have time for everyone to process (I am allowing one week longer than normal just to make sure everyone is ready for the PM) , and then the PM will be up for another long while for backers. In this time, I will have been able to show you the free model, as well as all the exclusive, plus some brand new sculpting on the unlocked models. Our post-campaign is going to be really active, unlike many campaigns that go dark.

I have gotten a few requests for a signature banner that you can use to help us promote our campaign. Thank you very much for your support.

Still debating on whether or not to stay in on this one.

I love the overall look and quality of the sculpts, but I find my 'counts as' uses for such a large and expensive model are limited...

This is because of a few different reasons.

BECAUSE REASONS!

Obviously Jeremy is or has just left his post as a tenured professor, because I have heard that before.

Sorry, that just made me laugh when I read it. Totally a reasonable plan.

Yup, top bundle. Gotta get 1 of each and then use the free models to get extras of the ones that are begging to be converted!
And I'll definitely be using them all. I'm trying to get my Warriors of Chaos army to 100,000 points, and naturally I will use every single one of these amazing models as centerpieces for the army.
Now if I can just snag a couple more Forge World greater daemons... some of the Ultraforge demons... some Mierce Miniature beasties... Bah, I just want Creature Caster Wave 2 already!!

Because centrepiece might be a good enough reason for some of them - or one of them. Consider whether any of them can comfortable "counts-as" alongside your 40k toys as well as your Mierce ones...

I believe I'm currently between 60-70k, but I haven't done a full count in quite a long time. I might be lower and I might be higher, but I couldn't say for sure.

Perhaps I'll recount it all in November when I have my army of Creature Caster demons to back up the army!

Well once you hit 100k I'm sure GW will release the next edition and you'll have to recalculate and find yourself at only 80k. Guess you should just preemptive lay order more creature caster models .

That being the case, I imagine you've got just about every able bodied warrior from the northern wastes in that horde.

On topic- can't wait to put my pledge in for this

Are they still called "center pieces" if there are a dozen or so on the table? Or perhaps "twelfth pieces?"

If you have all twelve of them on the board it's called "playing in the basement because that much resin goodness would drop you and the table through the floor"

Seriously it's why I've had to stay away from mierce figures, my house let alone my bank account couldn't handle them all. That's why I'm just in for three....for now .

Project Update #28: Meet Kenny! Plus lots of other updates.
Posted by Jeremy Glen ♥ Like
Meet Kenny! Hey everyone, meet the newest member of the Creature Caster team, Kenny! Kenny is the creator of the Creature Caster Pledge Manager. He has done Pledge Managers for several big Kickstarter campaigns. I will be working in close conjunction with Kenny to ensure that the Pledge Manager is powerful, robust and flexible.

Kenny is a backer, so if you see him in the comment section say hi

Pledge Manager launch date. The PM will launch after a full three weeks has gone by, after the Kickstarter ends. This is in order to make sure that the last payments get cleared by the Amazon checkout process before we open up the PM. You will be notified with an update when it launches. You will then have a good long time to confirm your pledge and tell me exactly what you have pledged towards.

Do not get nervous at all during these three weeks. It is completely normal to wait two or three weeks after a big Kickstarter to let the credit cards clear. I will be commenting and staying engaged during this three week period, and we will have lots of chances to hang out and work on art.

Paypal users. I understand that a lot of your can only use Paypal. You will be able to use the Pledge Manager to make a pledge, after the campaign is over and the three weeks has gone by, and the Pledge Manager appears. You do not need to make a pledge to the campaign in order to qualify to use the PM. Just sign up when you see the PM appear.

Pledge Manager flexibility. The PM will allow you to change your pledge around, and also allows you to add stuff to your pledge as well. You will have plenty of time to noddle around before your pledge is locked in, and you will get several warnings before the PM closes.

BUNDLEMANIA! The new bundles are a hit.

As was mentioned before, you can choose which model you would like, as long as it is in the same LEVEL. This also applies to the CREATURE and DEMON bundles, even tho in the description is says you will get specific models.
You can not downgrade to a lower LEVEL, nor can you combine two lower levels to make a higher LEVEL. This would make for a situation that would be far to difficult to take care of logistically.
Currently, you are not able to pledge on two bundles at once. We might introduce this feature in the Pledge Manager however, so more news on that soon.
We will not be adding any more bundle options to the campaign. There are already a huge amount of ways to save you money in this campaign, and the Optional Extras and free gift models really allow you to make your own bundles.
Shipping. I am reminding everyone AGAIN that you must read the shipping section before making a pledge. You will be send a request for payment once your models are manufactured and are ready to ship.

You must be familiar with the shipping rates with your own country so you have a general idea of what the shipping cost may be.
These miniatures are not manufactured in America, but shipping rates are excellent in America, but be prepared to still pay shipping.
These model will most likely be shipped from several global warehouses, one of which is in the UK. We are almost certain that we can have you avoid paying the VAT, the same as many other successful Kickstarters.
Our shipping charge is not padded, inflated, and we do not gouge or profit with shipping. Your shipment will be as small and light as possible, with attention given to environmental concerns as well.
Parts are still being unlocked! The next parts to be revealed are the Plague Angel parts, Very soon after is the Possessed Dragons parts, and then we get to do lots of Google hangouts to develop our Minion together.

Both the Plague Angel and Possessed Dragons parts will be revealed before the end of the campaign.
The Minion will not, as this is something for us to do together during the post campaign.
Super Secret Model! Yes, each backer that is receiving an actual physical package in the mail with receive one special exclusive super secret model, free of charge.

One per pledge if the backer is receiving physical models. No exceptions. There is no way to buy more, nor will this be available in retail. It is a free gift, so just enjoy it.
This model is larger than a 28mm miniature, and smaller than a demon.
This model is pretty fun
I will see you in the comment section. Only a few more days to go! It has been really amazing, and I will give you a full breakdown and report once the campaign finishes, and we can then start a really fun post-campaign. I want to keep the lines of communication as open as they have been during the campaign.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Ugh, it's going to be that Canadian Chimera isn't it. Don't get me wrong, I always appreciate the intent behind free stuff, but I have absolutely zero use for "fun" and/or "quirky" models. Ah well, maybe I'll be able to cut even further into the price of my daemon by ebaying the freebie.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

Well, if the 40k rumors are true about any army being able to summon greater deamons if they take a certain psychic discipline, Creature Caster's market just got a lot bigger

I think allowing people to join via Paypal after the campaign is over, as you've planned, is a really good idea in this regard! (Since the new 40k rules won't truly be known until the end of May)

If you mean height-wise, generally people are OK with a model having a larger LOS profile (as that is a disadvantage in-game) as long as it fits on the correct base.

And FW's greater daemons are already quite large:

I'm about ready to bail on this KS. I get the feeling the free mini is going to be fun but dumb. I collect minis but also use them in my games. These models are too big for my games. The detail is fantastic. But, I keep asking myself, Do I really need them. I'm still considering.
