Is this going anywhere or what? Jeremy seems to have completely dropped off the radar.. **Edit: Saw this on his personal FB page just now. Jeremy Glen 21 March at 07:49 · I am leaving town on Sunday. I will be back in a few weeks. I just wanted to give my friends a heads up that I am not around. I was hoping for a growth opportunity on my trip, and perhaps there will be, but I have been blindsided by the kinds of changes I have been experiencing in my pre-trip preparation. About a week before a trip or an event that requires me to be clear of background tension or worries, such as a party or a large gathering, I enter into a process where I actively simplify my thinking and ease my mind. This makes a little more room for potential change during the trip or event where I might normally be to tense to accept it. This time however, while going through this process, I have encountered a lot more change than I had expected. I have some very distinct personal attributes that make me a difficult person to love, or even tolerate at times. I have difficulty identifying when my confidence turns into arrogance. I have difficulty in having my willingness to help others turn into being patronizing. I am very defensive in regards to my opinions on politics, feminism, business, relationships, communication and art. I am ego-addicted to the attention I get from sharing my artwork. I compensate by being hyper-vigilant. I would like to think that these attributes are not deal-breakers, but many times they are. Many of you who are reading this can recall times where my traits have caused rifts and sometimes even painful disconnects. This year has been extremely valuable in identifying some of my negative attributes, and I have decided that now is the time to take on the hard work of rooting out the causal issues that are leading to these attributes. If I have ever hurt you or disappointed you, please believe that I am doing my best to be a better person. I am ready to take on the hard work. I am sorry for when I have hurt you. I am ready to do what is needed to get back to myself and become a better person. I will see you when I get back.
Doesn't bode well does it??? I think he may be broken..

So Jeremy is having a nervous breakdown and is going off to some soul searching. Glad I only went in on a single figure at the lowest level. So how does one go about disputing a charge on Kickstater?

Oh, for feth's sake.
What a load of self indulgent, psycho babble claptrap.
Jeremy, if you're reading this - you are not special. Everyone has negative aspects to their character, most of us are aware of them and do what we can to minimise them and eliminate them where we can.
What the rest of us don't do is take people's money and undertake a responsibility to provide people with goods in exchange for that money, make a big deal about taking great care to ensure things won't overrun, let things overrun and then go and swan off with the bloody fairies to find ourselves.
Get a grip. Get help, whatever, but shirking your obligations because you think you're a special snowflake is not cool.
I had hoped to buy these at retail, I didn't back the KS, partially because of some the comments I read of Jeremy's gave me pause, but I now will never buy the models as I will be supporting the lifestyle of a man who thinks this sort of behaviour is ok.
You want self improvement Jeremy? Recognise you're a gak businessman and employ someone to smack you over the head every time you start acting like a douche.

Okay so I am in on this one too for an entry level model. Now coming from someone who has been totally screwed by Zuzzy Miniatures (aka James Hubbs) recently I don't have a problem yet with someone that's doing a kickstarter taking a vacation. Compared to what I experienced with Zuzzy Im just glad he is telling folks he won't be around , its his perogative going into more depth not really necessary. I can understand early backers with a lot down being a bit nervous but in my limited experience total unannounced radio silence is what is really scary.

That'd be fair if the project weren't 5 months overdue and not looking like being filled imminently.

Admittedly I am new to participating in kickstarters I thought the projects were somewhat open ended. If it was promised 5 months ago then I agree at least provide some detail on a plan to get things on track. Personally being transparent about a vacation I have no issues with its just good business to communicate well when not meeting timelines.

Glad I decided to wait for retail on this one, not getting a dime of my money until he has a product to put out. Starting to look like that's the thing to do with these Kickstarters anymore, considering how many of them run late or just simply never deliver.

They shouldn't be open ended. The fact that many appear to be is testament to the fact that KS has put the ability to be one's own business owner into the hands of individuals who really aren't qualified to manage that sort of responsibility.
Backers are now so accustomed to delays that they're considered normal, but I guess that is on them for allowing the delays.
I'm given to understand that a key part of the delay in this project is down to a failed computer/hard drive. I'm not sure which is worse, that someone who relies on digital files for a living not having a back up or the possibility that someone felt this was an acceptable excuse for a delay that people would tolerate.

Yodhrin wrote:Is there an actual link to his personal facebook? Here it is. https://www.facebook.com/jeremy.glen?ref=ts&fref=ts So according to the Kickstarter comments, he's off to some bloody yoga retreat. Hippy nonsense effectively. Creator Jeremy Glen on March 19 The three demons have landed! I got to receive the package with the prints of the latest three demons today, and I am super impressed with the prints and the joints. Their construction was really planned out on these three models, and they dry-fit together so nicely! This is always a huge relief when things go according to plan, and these printers do the best job out of any other I have used... and I have used A LOT of other printers. Now that I have these here, I will fiddle with small details, and the printers have the files for the next four dragons. I will still be noodling with the Possessed Dragon for a little while longer. I am debating as to whether or not it will have the mouth fingers. I will show pics with and without. The Emperor and Mountain and Zombie are good to go and are in line to be printed. I am getting on a flight on Sunday. Doing a bunch of business-type stuff and also doing a short yoga retreat (yes, a yoga retreat!) When harnessing the dark energies needed to create these monsters, I use yoga to re-balance myself to a functional state. Kenny and I will still be checking mails and comments as well. Man, looking at all these printed models here..... dude! you are getting some cool models! Taking a while to get them out, but you are getting a killer price on some badass models. I am so glad I get to repay your patience with some great quality.

No chance of that. He disappeared as soon as he got funded and will never be back. Unless he needs to pimp another KS down the line...

"Spilled coffee on my new computer" was an excuse for a couple of months. That was a long, long time ago now, though - and even allowing for absolutely nothing to have happened for several months, the project "should" be complete. It's kind of like "Force Majure" from Games and Gears at this point. The only updates Jeremy ever seemed to put out were about Google Hangouts, though. Nice renders, little on production.
A real shame that Jeremy has potentially gone down the Imbrian Arts road. A warning about single-artist projects.
The update-comment makes me leery as well.

Well, judging by the comments, if you have the same sort of friends he does, you'll be praised for it and not one will call you out for being a flake. Although it is quite possible that if this is a social page, many are unaware he's closing in on a 6 month overrun of a project he solicited investment to fund.
