So I was toying around with a list that has two land raider redeemers, a land raider proteus and a sicarius battle tank. My idea is to have all this in a 1750 list.

You'll feel like a god against Scissors. You'll have a terrible time against Paper though.

Sun Tzu here is right, but against some armies.....they just can't deal with Heavy Armor like that. Pretty much every army I field, the only way I can deal with AV 14 is to hit it with my fist/klaw.....and if I'm that close.....so are you.

The only way to really run most units in 40k is to provide target saturation, so putting lots of armour down does work as a concept.

But as the others have said, battles you play will often be one sides, either for or against you depending on the lineup.

I sometimes run a 4 Land Raider list just for fun.

And while you'd think it's the ultimate rock/paper/scissors army, it's really not. Those armies that can't deal with all your armour? Yeah, you don't have the damage output to deal with them either.

If you're going down this route (it's a lot of fun), you'll need to squeeze as much damage output as you possibly can out of your remaining points.

Really depends on what army you and the opposition are playing.

A 3 LRC DA list, with a bolter banner command squad in the centre Crusader, bubble wrapping a techmarine/librarian on a bike with a PFG can give out a lot of punishent, and take little in return.
72 TL bolter shots a turn is nothing to sneeze at. And the fact you only present AV14, 4++ with damage table re-roll targets means that few armies will do significant damage. Until you meet a list that spams melta....

I play as space sharks, so my thought was about loading one raider with tyboros and the red bretheran, while the other has a tactical squad all with extra close combat weapons, a melta, and a pair of lightning claws. I would still have points for several more units.
