Oh my God. They have taken the most hated piece of fluff ever written and put in a audio book. Just when I thought GW couldn't be more incompetent they surprise me again.

It`s brilliant really. People moaning about rules bloat and Dataslates/Supplements ruining the game? Reignite the Ward hate.

There's nothing people like better than a scapegoat to pin all their distress on.

Also, Draigo's fluff really is not that bad in a universe as OTT as 40k.

I actually enjoy the pointlessness of his crusade. No matter how well he does he sees his enemies return to existence time after time. If he helps save one world he'll only return to the warp to learn of all the places where humanity has failed. It's actually quite fittingly Grimdark if viewed through such a lens.

It would be fantastic if they moved his storyline forward by having him succumb to the madness of the warp and return as a Daemon Prince. The greatest and incorruptible amongst the purest chapter ascending to Daemonhood would be a fitting end to his tale.

It is strongly hinted that he fell to slaanesh.

Also, draigo is awesome.

My least favorite piece of fluff ever. It's so stupid and embarrassingly bad.

Yeah, in the Daemon Codex's Slaanesh section.

Essentially, IIRC, there's fluff saying that a "silver knight of the Astartes" is in the warp, meets Slaanesh in person and is corrupted by him/her. Not stated to be Draigo outright, but some feel that the description could only be referring to him.

Seems plausible, actually. If faced with a an actual Chaos God directly, I doubt even someone like Draigo or Celestine could avoid corruption.
