Pretty sure you can only take one Avatar per army.

WOW.

If I ever get the models to play this, I'll certainly try... Probably not the best list out there, but... SO FUN it seems! Awesome idea!

7 would be the most you could take. That's in a double DOC with a avatar.

huh? 6 for heavy support One for primary detachment HQ one for secondary detachment HQ so 8. Avatar is once per detachment not once per army.

8 is wrong. An allied detachment can only take 1 heavy support choice. A double FOC is only a single detachment and can only take 1 avatar. So. 2 avatars and 4 wraithlords/knights if using allies. 1 avatar and 6 wraithlords/knights if using a double FOC.

Don't forget about the Ghost Warriors Formation. That's additional MCs without taking up force org slots.

Wrong on a number of fronts.

Firstly, eldar have no option of allies with themselves. Second, the BRB specifically says an additional primary detachment and the avatar says per detachment. Thus you can go 2 HQ MC (double avatar) plus potentially 2 more (wraith seers) then 6 heavies (knights or lords) then 2 more from allied tau (riptides) or dark eldar (Talos/Chronos) via double force org allies and then still use the ghost warrior formation for 3 more... Though by now we are well above 2k

You could ally Farsight supp and have one O'vesa too.

2 Avatars
2 Wraithseers
6 Knights/Lords
2 Riptides
1 O'Vesa

With upgrades and mandatory stuff like Farsight, Troops and the like this is about 2650 points

not according to the codex.

The most you could have in Double Force Org would be 8, unless you count the wraithseer... then potentially 10.

Using the dataslate... you could get 7 MC in a single force org.

Nope, sorry but they can't. All the other supplements specify they can ally with the parent dex... Just Iyanden that missed out that rule
