Well you can't ally eldar and eldar. But that being said you don't need allies, as the avatar and ranger can fit into regular force org

Well, indeed, its a bit crazy hiding behind those three wraith walkers. The opponent will hate you. Three is overkill. Just take one and let the enemy deal with him asap. In the meanwhile your other forces can go into position (unhindered) to aim for his throat.

@Ninja - the supplement Dex can ally with their parent Dex.
List is viable, but there are quite a few lists that will be able to handle this quite well. You'll be frustrated against them, and you'll be nothing but frustrating to those who can't deal with you. I'm going with Westenfux on this one, don't be THAT guy and find something middle ground.
EDIT: Just a suggestion, try putting your army in you subject. It helps those with Eldar experience and those who don't care about Eldar find/ avoid what they might be looking for.

No it can't. The Eldar supplement is unique in that it can't ally to the parent dex. The list is kind of weak to be honest. WK are durable but they don't put out massive amounts of damage to infantry and are expensive tarpits. I'd sick to 1 and bring some war walkers, at 1500 points those things are nuts.

No, it cannot. Genuine or not? Don't ask too deeply.

They can only ally supplement with codex if the supplement says so, Wich it does in the farsight enclave one for example.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I'll have to inform the Eldar player that did it against me. Sorry for the misinformation.

Well it's not too bad for your list, in fact there's no change lol. Just move The avatar and rangers to your main detachment. No biggy.

For the record, yes it can work (mine was Baharroth, 3 knights, 2 serpents, 2x7 avengers and rangers) but it's a very Rock Paper Scissors list...
