I'm currently designing my Red Scorpions army using the Ultramarines tactics from the Space Marine Codex. I've got for a Mechanised style list and need a little help in Finalising it so I can finish buying it! I'd like to keep this as mechanised as possible without the need for going full drop pod spam (most likely semi competitive) any help would be appreciated

HQ:

Tigirius 165

Command Squad 210
5 Plasma Guns, Rhino

Troops:

10 Tactical Marines 185
Meltagun, Rhino

10 Tactical Marines 185
Meltagun, Rhino

10 Tactical Marines 185
Meltagun, Rhino

5 Scouts 115
Shotguns, Sergeant W/Combi Melta & Meltabombs in a Land Speeder Storm

Fast Attack:

2 Land Speeder Typhoons 150

2 Land Speeder Typhoons 150

Stormtalon 125
Skyhammer Missiles

Heavy Support:

Vindicator 125

Vindicator 125

1720/1850

I then have 3 potential routes to take with the remaining points which I am unsure about, between:
Thunderfire Cannon
Auto/Las Pred
Dev Squad with 4 MLs

Tiggy will go with Command Squad and give them re-rolls and go heavy infantry/MC hunting whilst the rest of the army is pretty self explanatory, how does it look? All Comments Welcome!

So...you are just going to write a pointless comment which in no way benefits the writer or others interested in making a similar list and gives nothing but a bias opinion with no reasoning behind the dislike for that particular unit.
The rhinos are a mere 4/16 units in the army and, even more so, are only 140 points out of 1850, so to give no feedback based on that reason is just a waste of time to everyone.
As for your 4 options, I am not a fan of dev's or the thunder fire so for me I would take either the Pred or dread. The Pred is prob your best bet as it can help take some fire off the Vindi's

I would suggest the thunderfire be your add. I don't ever leave home without my 2 thunderfire cannons.

I would replace rhino for the command squad with a drop pod.
Get them in range for mass plasma quicker

Maybe instead of a rhino for the command squad switch it out for a razorback. This will still fit the squad and give another gun (personal choice) to add to the firepower of the squad.

Definitely thunderfire - it never fails to destroy units and with high toughness tends to last longer than it should.

I'm another advocate for the thunderfire cannon. And with the last 30 points why not give your tac squads multi meltas as well?
