I was thinking of ways that you could combine these three armies to devastating effect and wanted to get some opinions on what others would take in list including all three. So far I was thinking of a mech style IG list with some cheap divination psykers and maybe some elites from Inquistion, backed up by some Grey Hunters and a Rune Priest in a Landraider for some serious point contention/objective pressure and psyker offense/defense. What would you guys bring? Not looking for a full list, so much as some power combos between the three armies to put into a list.

If you want to play cheesy do minimum guards for vendettas. Do inquesistion for the good that is there. Do space wolves for grey hunters in a rhino and long fangs.

I would however recomend comming up with a list you think is fun and with models you like.

I personally don't like to mix Wolves with my IG, but a lot of people that do tend to take the Jaws priest with a squad in a pod, and another squad in a pod to serve as their "mobile" scoring units while IG just kind of sit back behind the Aegis Line.

Currently, taking 3 different armies in one list is something that's seen in my meta, and from what I hear on here, in other metas is frowned upon. Personally I would recommend choosing taking either Inquisition or Wolves and stick to that.

This isn't really something I am doing to be ultr competatve or anything. I just like all 3 armies and thought it would be fun to have all in the same list just due to the massive amount of variety you have to work with. At least until the new IG codex is released, they have no good elites (except Marbo) and thier HQ"s are very bland so the Inquisition was more or less in there to spice that up a bit.

You could do something like:

IG Primary:

2x Vendettas: 260
2x Manticores: 320

2x Melta Vets: 200
3 x Plasma CCS w/ Astropath and Chimera: 180

Inquisition:

2x ML1 Inquisitors: 110

Wolves:

Rune Priest w/ LL and Jaws, + Runic Armor: 120

9 GH in Pod w/ 1x Flamer and Wolf Standard: 175

6x Long Fangs w/ 5x Missile Launchers: 140

This is obviously just thrown out there, but this might work fairly well. You've got a pod coming down to threaten a backfield unit. You can support them with two Prescienced Manticores from the Inquisitors.

This might work a little better at 1,850 because you could add some other units (maybe another GH unit) for 3x Pods (+1 from the Long Fangs). Now you've got 2 pods dropping T1...send the LF pod down empty.

This is actually suprisinglly similar to one of the lists I was thinking of. Only I was planning on having more IG mech on the ground in combination with most of what you listed. I was also thinking about grabbing some of those fun elites from the Inquisition.

Inquisitors can't ride in allied transports (no battle brothers can). If you want to buff your manticores you will need a footslogging squad to stand in (blessings require line of sight)

Coteaz is pretty good, he lets you take acolytes as troops.

10 bolter acolytes in a chimera is 105 points
7 bolter acolytes and 3 plasma in chimera is 132 points (vets are 170 for same loadout)

I love coteaz and 5 jokaero in a chimera (even funnier when you roll perfect timing for 5 prescience, ignoes cover lascanons).

If you want cheese then maybe go SW primary so you can take 2x JOTWW as guard don't suffer too much for being allies.

Another fun unit is a guard blob with power axes and inquisitor with Rad grenades. Platoon Sargent's with ablative wounds and S4 against T3 (-1 for Rad) rerolling misses and 3/4 attacks each is awesome. I killed bel'kor with a blob like that in 2 turns (and blob was at half strength).

If you are in a blob you can also buff a manticore (something you can't do if yoi are stuck inside a transport. - apparently paykers can't cast out of the firing ports unless its a witchfire)

I never said the Inquisitors ride in transports. Your Manticore can hang out outside of LOS, and your Inquisitor can hide behind it.

Could do but I wouldn't recommend it

You can already take 2 Rune Priests with JOTWW with SW allies due to the Leaders of the Pack rule in the SW Codex. This was something I was also already considering. =)
