Hello All,

I wonder if you can help me.

I need to find out the latest rules for the Elder hornet, and I don’t know what book I need to buy.
I’m going to a tournament at the end of Feb, and think they would be good for my list.

From the bits I found from searching around, I’m quite confident they cost 95 points equipped with two pulse lasers and holo fields.

Can someone please point me in the right direction where I can get the rules from, I don’t mind if it’s a book I need to buy or PDF sheet?

Thanks in advanced.
James

IA 11 is totally out of date, IA:Apocalypse has the most current rules.

I love Forgeworld, but they really need to come up with a better system for updating books. Maybe different covers? Or something that ties the book to an edition? Or, (gasp) how about an index of current books and the editions they are good for?

Ah well. So which is it? IA 11 or IA:Apoc, and which Apoc book are we talking about?

You want Imperial Armour Apocalypse 2013, with a Chaos Reaver Titan on the cover.

That why i won't get fw because i have know idea what books to get. also most people that have fw just are able to print off the rules from online. But i think most people just make up rules for fw.

Ya just more books to buy...it's brutal.
I think the ones you get online are like the "TEST" rules? Not sure if thats true or not though but I know you can get the Tau XV107 R'varna rules online but are marked test (which is because its OP like crazy...I should buy one )

Imperial Armour Apocalypse, released about six months ago. Of course, the Space Marine section of that book is already out of date, so there's no telling how long the Eldar rules remain usable...

Hornets are awesome. The new rules are better than those of IA: 11.

They are now part of my standard list.

Yeah they are pretty insane, especially with their stupidly cheap pulse lasers. Those really should cost at least as much as missile launchers.

FYI, for Adepticon we tend to keep a spreadsheet running of where all the latest rules for each IA unit is found. Naturally this doesn't get updated throughout the year, but it is still a good resource most of the time. You can find the latest iteration here:

The description hasnt been updated. That book is the most current book fro the hornet rules, as IA11 is very out of date.
