Does anyone know if you can run these in warhammer 40k. They have a few nice looking models like these. Could be used as mega amour nobz... Seem to be reasonably priced? Ive never heard of them. Just saw them while checkin out ebay

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Kromlech-Orc-Juggernaut-Mecha-Armour-Squad-Orc-War-2-ork-/151177939300?pt=Games_US&hash=item2332e84964

You can use whatever miniatures you want in 40K. I doubt anyone (outside of an official GW event) would ever stop you.

A fine example of why I do not buy GW meganobs. I don't mind the price it is the utter blandness of the armor.

And those Kromlech Nobz are freakin' big!

Kromlech's orks are very, very nice good orky looking.

I am planning to get some of their pirate ork heads to see if I can combine them with the Juggernaut orks.

And I don't even play orks!

3rd party models are sometimes better, both in the quality of cast and the look of the model. Kromlech Orks are a good example of this.

Get the Meganobz. They are amazing casts. I use one as a Megaboss (because the rest of my Meganobs are scratchbuilt) and they are slightly large( only a matter of a 1-2cm or so) , but in the end who cares? they look incredible.

No you may not use any figures not made by the company who provides the rules. Nor may you use a different scale of figures, nor use any rules outside the rule book or official FAQ, and all terrain, dice, playing mats, measuring devices etc must be supplied by the company

The fantastic models (I've got them),

and Kromlech provide great service too

(depending on the order size and whatever else you might be planning on picking up those in the UK might find buying via The Troll Trader cheaper, although they obviously don't have the very new releases on sale as fast as shopping direct)

Good to know. I think I will be picking a set of these up... Is ebay the best place to order them. When you go to their website it just directs you to ebay for buying things...? I am in Victoria, bc, Canada if it matters

I ordered the Thousand Sons stuff on 01/05/2014 and it still has not shipped. Not necessarily a scam but after a month I am starting to worry.

You could also try Meeplemart in Toronto, they have some kromlech stuff, as far as I know their shipping is flat $10 canadian. If they do not have it email them and they will try to order them for you.

I'm a big fan of Kromlech, they are good folks who make great product.

I got some dozer blades, orc pilot, and some other bits just the other day, as usual fast, zero mold lines, just perfect.

That being said, I want to spell out explicitly something that HBMC mentioned generally - if you play at a Games Workshop retail store, they may ask you not to use figures from any other company.

No, you do know.

If it is caught by the manager that they are third party miniatures, it is an almost certainty that you will be asked to not use them.

Bit and pieces are small enough to go unnoticed, or plausibly denied as conversions, but we are taking large, substantial, entire minis in this case, and while I find much to criticise in the land of GW, this is something that I find totally reasonable and fair.

There might be an issue, if you bought it thru ebay contact them. I ordered a couple of cannons a little over two weeks ago and I wasn't expecting them as soon as I got them

Kromlech is a great company, I'd recommend getting in touch with them through eBay or their Facebook and asking about your order. It's possible that it may have gotten mis-shuffled during their "12 Days of Christmas" sale, which I think ended right on 1/5/14.

Ebay won't let me contact them since it's still within my estimated arrival date but the problem is that date keeps getting moved back. At first it was 1/18 then when 1/18 came around it got pushed to 2/03 and now it's been pushed to 2/25. Very frustrating

Artur_Kromlech posts in the Kromlech thread in N+R, perhaps you could send him a polite PM for an update?

EDIT Actually Pawel_Kromlech seems to be on here more frequently.

You can still contact them on Ebay, additionally - just select "something else" as the reason for contact (or however it's phrased).

Nope, if I saw those models on the tabletop I'd take a claw hammer to them, and then to your hands for daring to assemble models not made by Games Workshop.

Dude yeah, it's fine. They're cool models. As long as you're not playing in a Games Workshop store or against horrible people, you shouldn't have a problem. Go nuts.

But, but...

I thought that we are the horrible people!

Yeah - pretty much any place that is not a GW tournament, a GW store, or a GW-wanna-be store will have no trouble with them.

And given that GW has dropped tournament support and that their stores are going more and more to having no real games...
