I will be attending a tournament next month that consists of 2 large games~1850 (not sure on the points yet) and 2 kill team games. I will be taking my tau army. I have been thinking mostly what I am going to take for the kill team games so here is my kill team list.
farsight tau:
troops 3 crisis suits
flamer plasma rifle (fleashbane)
flamer plasma rifle
burst cannon plasma rifle (shed)
troops 1 shas'vre crisis suit
2 missile pods (master crafted)
this list is not bad plan is for the shas'vre to sit back a bit and utilise the range so that he stays alive the longest in theory to make use of LD 9 for break tests
ok as you can imagine this isn't the best list I am talking about. I was thinking of kill teams that I could face when I came up with this
deamons
troops 11 horrors
troops 11 horrors
since every model is an individual unit and every unit of horrors gets 2D6 flickering fire that's 44D6 flickering fire which translates to 154 S5 shots. am I missing something that makes this illegal please tell me I am.

a Pretty Nasty Kill team I worked up was with SW
10GH 2PG One with Preffered enemy (what ever the brunt of your opponets force is) the other with shred
Lonewolf with storm shield and CC weapon Fleshbane and MOTW
I would love to see these lists go up against one another in a KT event, Sounds like a good match.

10 grey hunters with plasma guns is good. the lone wolf is great getting him to combat is the problem.
what do you think of the demon army.

I love the daemon set up, I dont know enough about Daemons to know if it is illegal (I dont think it is according to the set up for KT and normal 40K) but which rules would you give them?
and if it is playable Unholy Mother of the Warp that sounds awful, not even a little would I want to deal with that.
The Lone Wolf is a difficult unit to get into CC but the Storm Shield will hopefully help (as well as FNP) but he will draw a ton of fire while he rushes in, and that is something I am okay with ahaha.

The Daemon list is very legal and frankly breaks the game in Kill Teams.
i would expect it to be banned otherwise there is little point anyone playing.

Yes the 22 Pink Horrors is the best KT army you have 2000 points of firepower. You beat everything. Literally nothing can beat the Horror list. The only thing that can come close is a Riptide which would be my advice for your list. The only issue being the burst cannon riptide tends to be the best at Kill Teams but is pretty underwhelming in a full game.

I've not seen those rules changes that would make a difference. Automatically Appended Next Post: I also can't find a FaQ for kill teams. Where are you getting those rules?

I have messaged the TO on another forum so he said he will just ban it as nothing can beat it. was amusing though. cant have more than 2 wounds on any model in this kill team tournament. looking to keep the crisis suit theme. any1 any ideas how to make it better.

since every model is an individual unit and every unit of horrors gets 2D6 flickering fire that's 44D6 flickering fire which translates to 154 S5 shots.
Actually because of the manifestation of magic SR they get 2 Warp Charges each, meaning it's 3D6 flickering fire per horror meaning that if you pass all your tests you get 396 S5 AP4 shots  also because of rolling to see if you pass a psykic test and the warp storm table, this list can be very unpredictable and unrelyable.
