I got a box of Termagants that came with a Ripper swarm, but how do I build them. Its just four or five individual Rippers that didn't come with a base for them to stand on. I figure I could just glue them to a warg base.

40mm base, like Warriors, and I do 3-5 per base.

Alright, thanks. Do 3 on a base count as 1 unit, or 3? I would assume 1 but I just want to be sure.

A base of rippers is a base of rippers. The Codex tells you how many bases are ina unit.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Generally you want a bunch (3-5) of ripper models per base, and the unit is defined as 'x bases per unit'.

Didn't the bases come with your termagants? I believe they should have come with a base. Call Customer Service and see what they say. They might just give you one.

How do I make Rippers?

First you get a mommy ripper and a daddy ripper, put them in the same room, lower the lights and put on some Barry White.

Oh you meant build them? 40mm base with 3-5 rippers per base, more if you have extras to spare as they look great piled on a base. If you have cash to burn the Forgeworld ripper bases are pretty awesome as they are brimming with rippers.

The Forge World winged rippers are a pain though. Each individual leg is a separate piece! And they all look so happy... ugh, it's kind of creepy actually. This coming from a girl who likes bugs.

I'm only putting 3 on a base to stretch what I have into more bases. I believe they expect 5 per base but you could get by with a single one on a base if youuse yer imagination and add in other terrain and such to make it look nice.

I do 3 on a base. Any more, and it looks overcrowded. Also stretches the absurd amount of rippers I have.

You can always magnetize them. What is it? 4 wounds? So 4 rippers per base and when you loose a wound you can take a ripper of.
