So anyone else having problems putting together the leader of this unit? To get the gun arm on it seems it has to bend like he has three elbows...any advice?

It has come up frequently in the last few weeks. They have subtly different poses that help the parts fit better, or so the others with issues have said.

I am just talking about the leader that has his own unique parts that cannot be confused with the grunt pieces...anyone have any pictures of an assembled leader unpainted? from the back and front to see how it fits?

I would suggest looking at the online pics at PP website. They have a 3D Rotation for a lot of stuff and the it is usually the leader model. link

It came up recently because joker posted almost the exact same thread about a week ago.

Almost the same...that was the grunts, which had multiple arms, and was figured out by the community. Thanks by the way.

This is the leader...which is a completely different model.

Thanks for the comment though.

I ended up pinning the leaders arms and weapon. I ended up running all my own cables using wire for everyone.

But mine were silverline. Cannot recall off hand if the leader has different stuff or not.

Anyways, you may need to do some filing, pinning and or greenstuff.

Are we going to get one of these every single time that you try to build a different model and fail?

Sorry I look to the Warmachine gaming community for help when I need it..so yes...you will. Thanks for the "useful" advice.

Why are some people in this gaming community jerks...they could not comment..but instead post to look superior to those that need help.

I guess I will stop posting here...find another friendlier group that wants to help each other...thanks everyone who did actually help.

Its a question of posting etiquette, or rather, your lack of it.

All of your threads could just as easily have been condensed in one or two separate threads but by choosing to open a new thread on every single variation of a problem that you have, you are forcing other people's threads down the page or even out of the first page. In forums that is considered quite a bit rude because it basically amounts to a "LOOK AT ME! I WAN'T ATTENTION!" behaviour.

Try to avoid this type of posting in your new group or you'll very likely end up with the same type of replies after a while.

If you let a few abrasive comments run you off, you'll quickly run out of friendly communities on the internet.

Back to the topic: can you photo the dry fit of the parts?

I would imagine standard green stuff (or whatever approximation you want to use) would be as effective as the liquid. A bit of chopping, a bit of sculpting, and voila, stuff fits together.

Sometimes you have to get a little aggressive with your models so they learn their place (that place ideally being fully assembled and on the tabletop).

Really, there is no reason to post another thread about putting together the same kit. If you are having issues assembling a certain kit, best to keep it limited to one thread with updates--rather than starting a new thread for each individual guy.
