Hey guys! Ive always been a fan of the warhammer Lizardmen but I dont play Warhammer (yet) so I decided to for my next army Im going to make a Chaos army converted to look like Chaos Space Marine Lizardmen. So far I've only finished my Helbrute but Im working on some regular Chaos marines, Raptors, and already have conversion ideas for a few other things. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on how to improve. This is only the second army Ive painted since I got back into miniature gameing. Thanks! 6/13 added Lizardman Demon Prince.

Here is my first finished Chaos Lizardmen Raptor. The others are mostly finished but I still welcome suggestions and constructive critisism.

Maybe a few bits of broken armour around the head, make it look like the head broke out of the suit? Looks good though.

Haha, this is an awesome idea! What god do they follow, the colour suggests Nurgle but the Idea suggests Tzeentch. Either way, awesome work.

Thanks for encouragement guys! Ill post more as they are finished. Hoping to have the Raptors finished by the end of the week.

I was planning on having them dedicated to Nurgle. Even though they arent decaying (cool idea), I figure lots of lizards are toxic and being able to naturally regenerate makes them tougher. I do agree Tzeentch is prob a more natural fit do to reptiles natural ability to CHANGE to theyre surroundings.

Finally finished the first Raptor and added a few photos of it. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas for improvement. I also went back and changed out the old Helbrute photos for some newer ones with better quality.

Also a lizard man fan and don't play WHFB anymore. Great use and conversions. I got keep an eye on this thread.

Its been a long time so I decided to work on my Chaos Lizardmen army some. I added some pics of my recently finished Lizardmen Demon Prince. Hoping I can find some more free time and try to really get this army going.

Nicely done dude. Bringing whfb races into 40k usually makes for some awesome minis, I'm currently building the beastman contingent of my mutant AM army, complete with minotaur bullgryns.
