Hey guys, this was an idea I had to take to a local yearly tournament. I am 16 and was looking to stick it to the adults as last year I took out the BABY SEAL AWARD. Not my finest moment (I did get a box of Death Company though), so this year I want the CHEESE WHEEL. Tell me what you think. Please Rate.

So much T6, I recommend more obliterators but other than that it looks solid

What do you recommend I drop to accommodate the more Oblits.

Vindicators perform poorly when taken alone. Id drop it and take 3 seperate oblits for your heavy supports.

I think you're shy on Troops personally. I would be running 3 Squads of Plague Marines at this point level (1 Troop squad for every 500 points).

It is a solid list. I guess it will come down to, can you kill his Troops faster than he can kill yours, something that Heldrakes excel at.

I wouldn't worry about troops so much with this list, your Drakes can remove those pesky objective controllers just fine. Only thing i'd change, is the Vindicator for more Nurgle Obliterators. They're just so damn useful!

I think a PF LC combo on the Lord is a better option. Murder Sword leaves a lot to be desired for the points cost. Plus on the bike he's T6 so more often than not you make it to Init 1 before he's dead.

I'd also switch the combi-melta's off the Rhino's and put them on the Plague Marine champions. The Rhino's are going to almost always be going at least 12" and Flat Out so in most cases you're not going to get off a decent shot. They're also the 1st things to die as they're an easy First Blood point. It'll be a lot more work to kill the PM Champ, and he'll have more chances to use it.

Since the Lord is Fearless, I don't think you need the VoTLW upgrades, which would save you some points. Also - since the Vindicator is firing Ordnance shots you'll only ever be able to snap shoot the combi-melta, so I'd ditch that. Between that and possibly dropping the combi-melta's on the Rhino's, that plus dropping a bike or a PM might get you enough to get a 2nd Oblit.

Dump the bikes and replace w/ Spawn x 5 w/MoN.

If you drop the bikes the Lord doesn't have an escort and you lose some of the only AV in the list.

I just wanted a hard hitting list that wouldn't make any friends...

I'd remove the Vindicator. Very short range, too easy to be charged, let alone fired and blown up by meltas.
I'd replace it with more Oblits... the point limit is too low to have too many heavy choices, at least Oblits will give you good versatility.

I cannot see why you are buying VotLW on the Lord and the bikes... Preferred Enemy (Space Marine)? I don't know if it's worth 12 points, considering that you already have 1/6 chance that your warlord trait will do that and that you are basically wasting points when fighting everything that is not SM...

I'd use the spare points to swap the Murder Sword and the Melta Bombs for a Powerfist + Lightning Claw combo
