For all of you who are interested in how I build my scratch build Ork stompa I have uploaded two short tutorials in German language with English subtitles (just klick on youtube comments).

I hope you´ll like it!

The final part will be available Friday next week. In this final part I will paint the stompa,
with lots of freehands and decals!

Have fun

Watched it already. You came very close to the original Stompa model which I don't like that much.

I'm still excited about the painting, looking forward to watch the next vid.

How to scratch build a stompa: grab a bucket, cover it with glue and toss it into your bitbox

[/terrible jokes], it's a really neat stompa!

1400 points of EW/MW Italians (FoW)
2200 points of SoB and Inquisition (40K)
1000 points of orks (40K)
Just starting out with Ultramarines (30K)
Four 1000-2500 point forces for WHFB (RIP)
One orc team (Blood Bowl)

Dear all, thank you for your feedback so far!

I have no problem to assemble things inaccurately, this is why I am playing Orks :-)

Brother Michael you are probably right, thats how you could do it as well!

Paint Tutorial is online tody, but only German language, I did not have the time yet for English subtitles...

Exalted.

Nice stompa. I personally hate cardstock though its too delicate when painted.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

Really cool! Sometimes it just blows me away how many things I could probably do but never thought to try. I still have to finish my first stompa, but man you have inspired me to build more.

Paint job came out good as well. I also see that you have little "helper grots " that come around when you are working too. They seem to like to "help" out buy taking daddy's brushes and paints, etc.

Really good step by step, thank you.

looks pretty good! A bit to much wavy corrugated tin roofing though. I prefer a few patches of that with mostly riveted and welded panels.
