Odd name though and the reason someone earlier thought two of the perpetrators were girls. I would have taken Blue as a girls name at first reading.

Isn't it a 14 year old girl that was used to lure the boy there, I can assume that it is her being tried as a juvenile? I don't think she should though. Your original post didn't hint to what you were talking about hence the confusion. I thought I was missing something.

No the one in the middle admitted to being the bait as it mentioned them by name and as the 14 year old is being trialed as a juvenile they will not release the name. So feel free to continue the anger towards the 14 year old if they did actually participate in this willingly.

Are you kidding, I'm 18 and I loved looney tunes. Still technicly before my time but there are a lot of old ones available.

What I think Daedulus means is that teenagers are hardly unaware of the effects of bashing someones head in with a crowbar these days. Their exposure to violence in media extends far greater than simply watching cartoons and silly cop shows.

Yes, and that exposure and it's lethality depends on how important that character is to the plot.

Basically. I mean, cartoons have been around for years. Almost a hundred years actually.

I think that's long enough to show that anyone who believes reality operates by those rules at the age of 14 is mentally ill. Blaming something else is just deflection.
